Shannon Sharpe appears to take brutal swipe at former co-host Skip Bayless amid sexual harassment claims

Shannon Sharpe appeared to take a shot at his former Fox Sports colleague Skip Bayless late Sunday night, just hours after a lawsuit emerged accusing the 73-year-old of sexual harassment.

Sharpe and Bayless previously co-hosted FS1’s Undisputed before a very public backlash led to the ex-NFL star leaving for pastures new.

On Sunday night, a bombshell indictment alleged that Bayless offered a Fox Sports hairstylist $1.5 million to have sex with her, and it wasn’t long before Sharpe seemingly referred to his former colleague.

After the Lions-Vikings game, Sharpe took to YouTube for his “Nightcap” show and interrupted his co-host Chad Ochocinco Johnson by shouting “It’s my turn” in an attempt to make his voice heard.

The line seemed to be a nod to several viral moments on Undisputed, when Bayless was known to shout those words at Sharpe when he wanted to speak.

When Sharpe said the words to “Nightcap,” laughter could be heard in the background of the recording, while Ochocinco smiled and chose to remain silent.

The lawsuit, filed by Noushin Faraji, alleges that Bayless offered her $1.5 million to have sex with him and gave her “prolonged hugs and kisses” several times.

Sharpe is also referenced, with Faraji claiming that Bayless accused her of having sex with his co-host during an angry confrontation.

The lawsuit then alleges that after another advance from Bayless, “Ms. Faraji replied, “Skip, stop, you have a wife.” Mr Bayless replied: “Are you not a Muslim? Doesn’t your father have three to four wives?”

‘Madam. Faraji replied that her father was dead, and when Mr. Bayless looked puzzled, she made an excuse to leave.”

Faraji claims she filed multiple complaints with Fox Sports’ Human Resources department, and was “forced to endure a misogynistic, racist, and ableist workplace where executives and talent could physically and verbally abuse employees with impunity.”

The lawsuit comes a year and a half after Sharpe reached a buyout deal with the network in the wake of his very public feud with Bayless.

The pair repeatedly clashed in mid-air, which ultimately led to the end of their relationship and Sharpe moved on to pastures new in June 2023.

Sharpe is now a regular co-host of ESPN’s First Take, while also fronting his own Club Shay Shay podcast and Nightcap.

He’s no stranger to his own controversies, after accidentally broadcasting himself having sex on an Instagram Live video in September.

He initially claimed he had been hacked, before coming clean and admitting the video was authentic.

Since his own departure from Fox Sports in August this year, Bayless launched a self-titled podcast that airs on YouTube, as well as Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
