And Australian Idol runner-up Shannon Noll, 47, proved hard work really does pay off when he stripped off for a shirtless gym photo on Monday.
Taking to Instagram, the singer shared a photo of himself looking insanely ripped as he flexed his muscles next to gym equipment.
His bulging biceps, chiselled abs and jutting muscles were on display, while his face was hidden under the shadow of a baseball cap.
Shannon also showed off a glimpse of his extensive tattoo collection, including a striking design on his shoulder and a Southern Cross ink on his chest.

‘Lost a few kilos last week after the flu!’ wrote the father of four.
‘Trained again this morning, not yet 100% but much better than last week!’ he added.
Shannon’s followers were quick to congratulate him, with some playfully calling the rock star ‘Swollsie’ instead of his nickname Nollsie.
“Summer body activated,” one user wrote, while another added: “You look amazing!”
