Shannen Doherty slams ex Kurt Iswarienko’s spending habits as she seeks $15k in monthly spousal support
Shannen Doherty has criticized ex-husband Kurt Iswarienko’s spending habits in a new spousal support claim.
The 53-year-old former Beverly Hills, 90210 star filed paperwork in Los Angeles on Friday, June 14, according to Our magazine.
In her filing, the actress requests $15,343 in monthly support “retroactive to June 1, 2024.”
She has also asked that the 49-year-old photographer contribute $9,100 towards her legal costs.
Doherty, who is dealing with a battle with cancer, said: ‘As a result of my recurring health problems, I have been largely unable to work and have no future prospects in the job market. Nowadays, virtually all the income I earn comes from work I did before marriage.”

She continued in the filing, “Most of my remaining income comes from a television show called Charmed.
“I recently learned that Charmed will no longer stream on any major streaming platform after June 30, 2024. As a result, my future residual income will drop dramatically.”
It was also noted that the television star has not worked since 2022.
Shannen believes her ex-husband, whom she was married to from 2011-2023, has the resources to contribute to her medical costs.
In 2023, the cost was $21,640 and she expects it to “increase dramatically” if she no longer receives SAG health insurance as a result of not working.
Doherty argued in court papers that Kurt has put his lifestyle above all else.
“While I was unable to work and incurring exorbitant medical expenses not covered by insurance to undergo experimental treatments in hopes of prolonging my life, Kurt has been flying and spending thousands of dollars at medical spas, jewelry stores, Gucci and the like . fleeing from his ‘agent’ while at the same time claiming he doesn’t have enough money to support me,” she said.
The artist has claimed that Iswarienko’s agent, Collier Grimm, is also his romantic partner.

“Although Kurt’s income is substantially greater than mine, he has not made any temporary spousal support payments and has not made any contributions to my attorneys’ fees and costs or accounting since the time our divorce case was filed,” Shannen stated.
It was also noted that Iswarienko did not provide the necessary documents to assess his earning capacity, assets and income.
She then submitted an application for an injunction.
The Hollywood veteran has asked Iswarienko an additional $11,800 for fees she says she paid “in efforts to obtain Kurt’s full answers.”
Doherty shared in the documents, “It is abundantly clear to me that Kurt is deliberately delaying settlement in the hope that I will not survive the divorce proceedings.”

Shannen is battling stage four brain cancer
Last year, Doherty announced that her cancer had spread to her brain in an Instagram post showing her undergoing radiation therapy.
First diagnosed with breast cancer — which included the presence of multiple tumors — in 2015, the Charmed alum underwent a single mastectomy in May 2016.
This was followed by chemotherapy treatments and radiotherapy.
In 2017, Doherty announced that her cancer was in remission. But in February 2020, she revealed that the cancer had returned in 2019 and she was in stage four.
