Shania Twain FALLS onstage during Illinois concert… but makes a quick recovery and keeps singing
Shania Twain, 57, FALLS on stage during concert in Illinois…but recovers quickly and continues to sing
Five-time Grammy winner Shania Twain slipped and fell during her sold-out concert at Credit Union 1 Amphitheater in Tinley Park, IL on Saturday.
The 57-year-old Canadian crooner — who relies on stylist Chris Horan — was rocking a sparkly silver pair of thigh-high boots while performing her 1997 song Don’t Be Stupid (You Know I Love You) when it happened.
Shania (born Eilleen Edwards) was parading around the stage during her third song in the setlist when her right foot slipped and she landed on her butt.
But Twain didn’t miss any lyrics and kept singing the song as she stood back up, gingerly testing the friction of the slippery spot where she fell.
Eyewitnesses told TMZ on Sunday that “the packed audience didn’t react when Shania took her spill” because she went on with the show without a hitch.

The “Queen of Country Pop” has never met a thigh-high boot she didn’t love, and even bought a pair of size 7.5 boots because she “loves them so much.”
“I saw the boot and I thought, ‘Oh, these are getting overpriced.’ But they were on sale. So I say to the clerk, “Do you have a 6.5?” She says, “No, this is the last pair,” Shania confessed in a June 17 post TikTok.
“I said, ‘Well, I’ll try them on anyway.’ You know that kind of thing where you love something so much you want them to fit even though you know they don’t? They are a size too big for me, but I just wear socks in them and it works!
“So I don’t know if squeezing your foot into a smaller boot is a great idea, but either way, I wear them too big because I like them so much!”
Twain will bring her 76-day Queen Of Me Tour to the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, NY next Monday.
The Starstruck judges’ tour is in support of her sixth studio album, which she wrote and recorded during the pandemic and released on February 3.
Shania will also appear alongside six other music superstars in Jack Martin’s musical spectacle masquerading as a game show Superfan, which premieres August 9 on CBS, but her episode doesn’t air until August 16.
