Shania Twain baffles fans with unrecognizable pink-haired selfie: ‘Who is she?’
Shania Twain stunned fans after sharing an unrecognizable selfie to her Instagram account.
The country singer, 58, shared a glowing photo of herself showing off her new pink hair in an outtake from her new cover shoot for Haute Living.
Twain said the photo captured all the “fun” she had that day.
“I love this clip from @hauteliving’s cover shoot because you can FEEL how much fun I had,” the Forever And For Always singer wrote in the caption. “Expect me to color my hair and do whatever I dare in Vegas, sorry, sorry, not sorry!!”
However, many fans couldn’t help but notice how different Twain looked in the blink of an eye.

“I have no idea who this is!” another commented.
‘Who is she?’ wrote another.
‘Who the hell? That looks NOTHING like you!’ wrote another.
“This photo doesn’t even look like you,” one person wrote.
“Been a fan for years, had no idea who this was,” wrote another.
While some responses were critical, there were also some fans who made more positive comments.
“It’s a great shoot,” one fan commented.

The photo was an excerpt from her recent photo Living high up shoot – where she opened up about her changing hair.
The singer has experimented with blonde, red and pink in recent years.
“It’s funny, the reason I even experimented with it [the pink] it was because I was going gray. And now I’m thinking that if I’m completely gray, maybe at that point I should dye my hair and rock pink,” she said.
However, many fans couldn’t help but notice how different Twain looked in the blink of an eye
‘That’s how I feel when I wear that color. It makes me feel youthful. I don’t need to look younger to my eyes – that’s not my goal – but I like to feel refreshed, and so does the pink hair. It is awesome.’
She added: ‘Aside from experimenting with hair colour, I’d say I enjoy being fearless – nothing really scares me.’
“I don’t worry about wearing hair color and not pulling it out. I don’t worry about the reaction… not even in my own mirror.
‘There’s nothing wrong with experimenting. You just have to have fun – and being playful makes me feel more youthful.”
