Shane Warne’s son Jackson’s shock new career move as he’s named the face of controversial rich lister Tim Gurner’s new ‘cult-like’ private members club for biohackers

Shane Warne’s son Jackson has announced a shock new career move as the face of a controversial Australian property mogul’s latest business venture.

Jackson, 25, was the spitting image of his father, who died of natural causes in Koh Samui on March 4 last year, as he posed for a promotional photo shoot for SAINT, the little brother of the $150 million private wellness club Saint. Refuge.

“I’m so excited to be an ambassador for the new @saintprivateclub!” he captioned the clip shared to Instagram on Tuesday.

Jackson is the only son of one of Australia’s greatest cricketers of all time. He is blond, tanned and bears a striking resemblance to his beloved father.

“If you’ve been following me for a while, you know how passionate I am about health and wellness, and this is hands down the best place in Melbourne to take both to the next level!” he wrote in the promotional post.

Saint Haven is a chain of private members’ clubs in Melbourne, owned by millionaire property developer Tim Gurner, who made global headlines in 2023 after calling for a ‘painful’ 50 per cent increase in unemployment to push ‘lazy’ workers into action to turn on.

That came after the rich lister wondered out loud last September that “arrogant” workers “must feel pain in the economy.”

Prior to this high-profile faux pas, Gurner was relatively unknown to the general Australian public.

The exclusive Saint Haven and SAINT clubs are a cross between mysterious clubs with elite members, such as America’s SoHo House – which announced plans to open a Sydney outpost last year – and Nicole Kidman’s wellness retreat in the TV drama Nine Perfect Strangers.

Members of the New Age spa follow Gurner’s regimen of biohacking and anti-aging processes.

Several members rushed to secure 500 limited memberships for Saint Haven in 2023, priced at up to $1,000 per week.

Potential members had to go through a five-stage application process to apply for the rich man’s fraternity house, including undergoing numerous medical tests.

Gurner is one of a new breed of ultra-rich men and tech gurus selling reverse aging to an elite audience.

The practices employed in these spas have been described by some as ‘cult-like’.

In an interview with Financial Review, Gurner claimed that by taking 50 to 60 nutritional supplements a day, following a strict meal and exercise plan, and taking numerous blood tests, he turned back the clock on his physical biology by nine years.

He had also increased his testosterone levels, he said.

SAINT is his new club for top sports stars, entrepreneurs and professionals.

Jackson’s appointment as ambassador is part of the multi-millionaire’s grand plan to expand the reach of his three locations, in Collingwood, South Yarra and Toorak, to a younger demographic.

‘SAINT offers an incredible space to connect, unwind and perform at your best! It offers heat and cold therapy, lymphatic drainage, red light treatments and more,” Jackson wrote.

He also included a link to pre-register for membership at the new St. Kilda location.

The brand was inspired by conversations Gutner had with young athletes, including AFL players Nick and Josh Daicos.

“They said we understand Saint Haven, but how do we do this in a way that has a more social focus, where we can be present all day, and it’s a high-octane, high-energy version,” Gurner shared to AFR.

“They want upbeat music and hip-hop yoga.”

“They want to come here and do a fire and ice session [a wellness practice that combines infrared saunas and ice baths]experience a natural euphoric experience and then take a shot of 100 percent agave tequila.’

Following his father’s untimely death in 2022, Jackson and his two siblings, Brooke and Summer, inherited 31 percent of Warne’s 20.7 million fortune.

Unlike Saint Haven, SAINT has alcohol available on weekends.

The black and white theme spread over two levels in the clubs represents the ‘sinner and saint’ theme.

The white area includes gyms, recovery zones, co-working spaces, IVs, hyperbaric oxygen chambers, red light therapy and a whole food buffet.

The black area includes R&B Pilates, boxing and mixed martial arts, sound healing and breathwork and meditation studios.

The cost is $89 per week, which is about half the price of Saint Haven’s lowest membership.

Gurner, who made his $989 million fortune mainly from real estate, said he plans to open 10 more SAINT clubs by 2026.
