They say that imitation is the greatest form of flattery – but it is very doubtful that any of the major brands copied in these photos would be happy.
People from all over the world have shared their bizarre finds to the Twitter page Strange Knock Off Designsand Bored Panda collected them in a hilarious gallery.
In some cases, companies have slightly modified the famous company logo to avoid copyright issues, while others seem to mix up two completely different brands.
Among the curiously (but not quite) similar products on offer is a Kat-Kot chocolate bar in red packaging — and a very well-known slogan: “Have a break, have a Kat Kot.”
Meanwhile, another company cleverly changed the word north to south when creating their clothing store South Face, completing their branding with a very familiar mountain logo.
