Western companies that still sell air fresheners and ice cream in Russia are accused of dragging their feet.
Shamed companies, including Unilever and Reckitt, are facing renewed criticism for their continued presence in the country, after Heineken and Domino’s were the latest to shut down operations.
Companies have argued that it is logistically difficult to close down or sell their Russian weapons.
But Mark Dixon of the Moral Rating Agency said: “Feet-draggers often want more money than their Russian assets are worth – they put greed before morality, but in the end they will be burned.”
