Shame-faced ‘serial rapist’ playboy twins swap suits for suicide vests in court as parents watch
Alleged serial rapists, identical twins, stood shamed and wore suicide vests during their first court appearance after being charged in a sprawling sex crimes investigation linked to their family real estate empire.
Oren and Alon Alexander, 37, along with their brother Tal Alexander, 38, are accused of drugging and raping dozens of women or engaging in sex trafficking between 2010 and 2021.
Oren and Tal Alexander were superstar realtors at famed real estate firm Douglas Elliman and are known for selling America’s most expensive property ever: a $238 million penthouse overlooking Central Park that they closed in 2019.
Alon worked as an executive at a security company founded by the brothers’ parents, real estate developer Shlomy Alexander and security director Orly Alexander, both of whom attended their sons’ first hearing Thursday.
The hearing resulted in Oren and Alon’s bond being denied. It is unclear why Tal, who faces lesser charges, did not appear in court with his brothers on Thursday.
The brothers have boasted about their lavish lifestyles on social media over the years and found themselves in high-flying social circles, with Oren previously pictured partying with fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger.
The three brothers were each arrested at separate properties in Miami on Wednesday morning, and the twins are also charged with sexual assault in connection with the alleged assault of three women, the New York Times reports.
Stomach-churning claims against the trio in a criminal complaint stated that they would throw glamorous international parties as “bait,” then choose from a “rape wish list” of women to attend.

In the hours after the identical twins were taken into custody in Miami, their fall from grace was evident as they both appeared shaken as they were busted for their mugshots.
No mugshot has yet been released for 38-year-old Tal, and the trio will face federal charges in New York.
Prosecutors allege they used their wealth and status to assault and coerce women, even conspiring to organize events and trips to lure women into their web.
On Wednesday, FBI agents were seen outside Oren’s Miami home, and a spokesperson for the FBI’s New York division told Bloomberg that they had obtained a search warrant for his property.
The brothers have previously denied the allegations against them and are currently being held in Miami.
According to reported arrest warrants, Oren and Alon Alexander were charged with three sex crimes, in 2016, 2017 and 2021.
Oren Alexander is named in all three allegations, while only the 2016 incident involved Alon.
None of the arrest warrants refer to Tal and the specific allegations that led to his indictment have yet to emerge.
The brothers’ parents, successful businessmen who emigrated from Israel in 1982, attended Thursday’s hearing.

The first of three allegations against the brothers from 2016 alleged that Alon Alexander invited a New York woman to Miami Beach for a barbecue, but when she got there, she discovered she was the only person invited.
She claimed that Alon gave her a tour and led her to the bedroom, where she was confronted by Alon, Oren and their cousin, Ohad Fisherman.
She told Miami Beach police that Fisherman held her down while the brothers sexually assaulted her. The New York Times reported that Fisherman is now facing a sexual battery charge but remains at large.
In 2017, it is alleged that Oren Alexander messaged another woman on Instagram and invited her to the beach, where she later met Alon and other family members.
Weeks later, she said she had dinner with Oren and a friend before a real estate event and was taken back to the same Miami Beach apartment where the 2016 claim occurred.
She said she tried on a pair of virtual reality glasses in the apartment, after which Oren allegedly took off her dress and pushed her into a bedroom before attacking her.
The victim said she met Oren weeks later at a hot tub event and demanded an apology, to which he responded by trying to kiss her and masturbate over her, it is alleged.
When she told friends and Oren heard about it, he allegedly texted her in 2018 saying, “Nothing happened. If you keep talking about it, I’ll destroy you.’

In the 2021 incident, a woman claimed she met Oren at a dinner with a friend before they went to a Miami Beach property. At home, she said Oren poured her a drink and immediately tried to kiss her on the couch.
He led her to the bedroom, she claimed, ripped off her dress and shoes and refused to let her leave. She said she later returned to the bedroom and he assaulted her, according to the warrant.
Since June, the brothers have also been hit with civil lawsuits from at least two women and have been accused of sexual assault by dozens of others in recent years.
A lawsuit filed in March accused Oren and Alon of rape, and a second lawsuit included similar allegations against Tal, the Wall Street Journal reports.
The men have denied the allegations in the lawsuits, shocking the real estate world, where Tal and Oren were once seen as rising stars.
One of their accusers, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star Tracy Tutor, 48, joined the New York Times in July along with nine other women to report allegations of sexual abuse.
Seven of the women, including Tutor, said they believed they had been drugged before being raped by Tal, 38, or younger twins Oren and Alon, 37.
