Shakira has compared her ex-boyfriend Gerard Pique to Harry Potter villain ‘Voldemort’ in her latest swipe at the former Barcelona star.
The couple announced their separation in June 2022.
During their relationship, Shakira and Pique, who is now in a relationship with Clara Chia Marti, had two children together.
The Colombian singer, 45, is now returning to work after ‘putting her career on hold’ for her ex-footballer.
Her upcoming album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, will contain a ‘diss track’ towards her 37-year-old ex-partner.

“Voldemort, the one who must not be named?” she said when asked about the connection. “It’s hopefully the last song I’ll write about this, and for him.”
She added, “I felt there was something still stuck in my throat, and I had to get it out. I told the head of marketing at Sony and he started crying. I had never seen a man cry in my studio.
Shakira got candid about everything she gave up during her 12 years she was in a relationship with Piqué.
“For a long time I put my career on hold, to be next to Gerard so he could play football,” Shakira admitted during an interview with The Sunday times.
The Hips Don’t Lie singer continued, “There’s been a lot of sacrifice for love.”
Previously, the Colombian bombshell, who shares sons Milan (11) and Sasha (9) with her former partner, discussed the sacrifices she was willing to make for her children and Piqué.
