Fans have dubbed Jared Goff a Swiftie after the Lions quarterback showed off his impressive knowledge of pop sensation Taylor Swift.
Goff will lead Detroit to a huge NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
However, earlier this week the quarterback – and teammate Aidan Hutchinson – took some time off from their preparations to take on a new challenge.
Both Lions players were asked to name their favorite songs by Swift, who is dating Kansas City’s Travis Kelce.
Their responses were posted to the NFL’s TikTok channel with the caption “this is so pure” next to a love heart emoji.

“Okay, my favorite songs,” Goff began. ‘My first one, I’m going for ‘Getaway Car’. No. 2, I’m going for “The 1”. No. 3, I’m going for “All Too Well (10 minute version)”
Hutchinson, meanwhile, said: “My favorite Taylor Swift song is ‘Love Story.’ It just comes across differently, man. It’s an oldie, it’s a classic.’
Goff’s acquaintance impressed Swift supporters and also earned him new fans.
“Jared Goff is a Swiftie without a doubt,” one social media user wrote. “He just mentioned three songs from three different albums. I’m impressed.’
Another added, “Did I just become a Jared Goff fan? Yes I did,” while a third wrote: “Now officially in favor of (the) Lions!”
Lions defenseman Aidan Hutchinson also chose his favorite Swift song in the viral clip
A few years ago, the Lions quarterback met Swift backstage at one of her concerts
Goff has never hidden his affection for Swift. In 2018, he was asked to name the coolest celebrity he met in Los Angeles.
“Probably Taylor Swift. I got hooked up backstage at her Rose Bowl concert. I was with my sister, mother and grandmother. I’m a big fan,” he told ESPN.
The quarterback also admitted that he has to play her music “every now and then” and that he met Kobe Bryant while watching Swift in concert.
“Taylor Swift” was also one of the audiobooks he said he would choose for the 2018 season.
