Shailene Woodley stays close to rumored girlfriend Roberta Colindrez in NY two years after Aaron Rodgers split

Shailene Woodley was spotted getting close to her rumored girlfriend, Mexican actress Roberta Colindrez, in New York City on Sunday.

The Big Little Lies star, 33 — who last month reflected on her “toxic” relationship with NFL star Aaron Rodgers, 41, — looked cute in a black jacket and light wash jeans.

Her long blonde hair fell from a bright orange cap as it hung close to Roberta’s side.

Roberta, 38, from Monterrey, Mexico, wore all black and kept her dark hair down, revealing a striking gray streak.

The two actresses are currently starring alongside each other in Cult Of Love on Broadway.

Shailene and the A League of Our Own star have reportedly been dating since Thanksgiving, but neither has confirmed the claims.

An eyewitness told the gossip blog Two Moi that the co-stars looked like more than just friends during Thanksgiving dinner at Fraunces Tavern in New York City.

“Honestly, they were super cute and definitely looked together,” the source said. “They were kissing all night!”

Woodley came out as bisexual in 2014.

The chemistry between Shailene and Roberta on stage has also been the talk of the town since the premiere of Cult of Love.

In the play, semi-estranged siblings return to their family home for Christmas, with Shailene playing sister Diane.

Shailene and Roberta are part of an incredible cast that includes American Horror Story alum Zachary Quinto, Euphoria star Barbara Ferreira, Rebecca Henderson, David Rasche, Molly Bernard and many more.

Shailene previously dated the NFL quarterback Aaron. The couple was engaged before ending the relationship two years ago.

In an interview with Outside magazine, Woodley admitted that she doesn’t talk about him because the relationship still makes her emotional.

“I haven’t talked much about my relationship with Aaron because it always makes me cry,” she said as tears began to well up in her eyes.

‘It wasn’t right. But it was beautiful,” she added.

Woodley and Rodgers got engaged in 2021, just days after the world learned about their relationship.

They remained engaged for a year before splitting in February 2022.

She called the period during which their divorce took place difficult, but did not specifically say that the divorce was the reason for her sadness at the time.

“I experienced something terrible and traumatic in early 2022,” she said. “I felt like I was losing my soul, my self, my happiness and my joy,” she explained.

Shailene said her empathy for “someone else” kept her in a “toxic situation.”

“Empathy,” she added, “kind of kept me in this loop of feeling everything for everyone.”

“I knew I was depressed when I looked at a tree and felt nothing,” she continued, calling it “the lowest low of my life.”

Woodley’s best friend, stylist Kris Zero, was the one who helped her out of her depression.

Zero woke Woodley up every morning with loud music and helped take her mind off the anxiety.

“Sometimes I was so mad at her,” Woodley said. ‘But then we went surfing, and for ten minutes that day I thought life was going to be okay again.

“Then the depression came back and she said, ‘We’re volunteering at the horse ranch!’ And we’d find some random horse ranch, and we’d clean up the horse shit.

‘We cleaned the hooves and brushed the horses, and for twenty minutes that day I thought that life would turn out well again.

And then the depression came back and she woke me up the next morning and said, “Let’s go for a walk and take garbage bags and pick up trash!”

The depression began to resolve after six months of activities.
