Sex Education’s Ncuti Gatwa and Asa Butterfield were turned away from the Chiltern Firehouse on Wednesday after attending the GQ Men Of The Year Awards.

The pair were seen hugging and catching up as they tried to enter the lavish club at around 2.30am after leaving the Royal Opera House in London.

Both seemed a bit worn out and were promptly turned away by the door staff, despite queuing for a while.

Asa Butterfield, 26, who plays Otis Milburn in the Netflix series, stood out in a striking green pinstripe suit.

Ncuti, 31, who plays Eric Effiong, cut a very smart figure in a long gray double-breasted jacket, which he teamed with a crisp white shirt and black tie.

It comes after Jodie Turner-Smith appeared in good spirits as she reunited with Ncuti at the Awards.

The actress, 37, wore a black leather mini dress as she posed for photos with the dapper Doctor Who star at The Royal Opera House.

Jodie looked fantastic in the cool Nihil Moto dress, which featured stitching, lace ties at the straps and zippers that reached from the top of the dress and down the sides to the hem.

Jodie added a pair of semi-sheer black tights and enhanced her already impressive height with a pair of black leather heeled boots.

She accessorized with several colorful bracelets and a choker with a silver chain, while she also wore small silver hoops and a septum ring.

This year’s list of honorees includes Jack Antonoff, Gary Lineker, Wrexham AFC’s Paul Mullin, Paapa Essiedu and Top Boy’s Malcolm Kamulete.

Other stars on this year’s list include soccer players Mary Earps and Jenni Hermoso, athlete Katarina Johnson-Thompson and filmmaker Molly Manning Walker.

Each of the 26 honored stars will also grace their own solo cover of the men’s magazine, which will be unveiled in the coming days.

It comes after Jodie joined the cast of Sex Education for the fourth and final series, which debuted on Netflix earlier this year.

The Queen and Slim star featured in the comedy-drama as ‘God’ when she appeared to Eric Effiong (Ncuti Gatwa) to ensure he followed his life’s calling in a dream.

Earlier this year, Jodie told how she signed up for the series after actor Ncuti, who will soon take on the role of Doctor Who, called her to pitch the idea.

“First of all, all my scenes were with Ncuti Gatwa, who – I’m dying for him – and he’s my favorite character in the show,” she told Variety.

“So when he called me and asked me to do it, I thought, I don’t care how much they pay for me to do it.”

After the latest series of Sex Education came out, it received an average reception from critics, but fans went wild sharing their reactions.

Taking to Twitter, fans of the show shared their thoughts on the latest and final series of the hit show as they navigated the drama.

The series follows Otis (Asa Butterfield) through his awkward teenage years and sexual escapades, as fans have seen him endure both heartbreak and his own heartbreak.

The final series follows the teenagers as they leave Moordale Secondary to start Cavendish Sixth Form College.

And fans were blown away by the chemistry between Otis and his former flame Ruby (Mimi Keene) when the two reconciled this series.

One fan commented on the couple’s scenes together, writing, “like an otis & ruby stan, I AM KICKING, SCREAMING, CRYING, VOTING UP!”

Another joked: “It should be ILLEGAL to have that much chemistry,” as Ruby and Otis hugged in bed.

Fans seem to be team Otis and Maeve, or team Otis and Ruby, and the latter seemed to come out on top, as another wrote: “Otis and Ruby, you will forever be iconic.”

Yet Maeve fans still supported the young, feisty character, as one wrote: “I’m so happy with the ending Maeve got and I love her so much. She deserves all the good things that ultimately happened to her after everything she’s been through.”
