Kristin Davis took a firm stance that she wasn’t willing to go into the longstanding feud between her Sex And The City co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall.
The 58-year-old actress – who also spoke about feeling pressure to always look like her ‘younger self’ – candidly revealed in a recent interview with The Telegraph that she doesn’t want to get involved in the drama.
She played coy when she said, “You have to respect people’s wishes. I’m not going to waste any energy on it. I can’t change anyone.
“I understand the feelings of fans – that they are upset… I wish I could fix it, but I can’t, it’s not in my power.”

Cattrall was convinced to join And Just Like That with a promise of “nice career boost and great payday” by her “best friend” and producer Darren Star, DailyMail.com revealed exclusively last week.
The iconic actress last week confirmed her shocking return as Sex And The City’s Samantha Jones for the spinoff’s second season — despite her explosive feud with co-star Parker.
According to VarietyKim returns for just one “cliffhanger” scene, which she shot in New York City, without seeing or speaking to Sarah or their fellow leading ladies Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis.
In the scene, Samantha, who has moved to London, will have a phone conversation with Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw.
The New York Post also revealed that Cattrall’s cameo was so secretive that her name didn’t even appear on the call sheet for the day, leaving people stunned by her presence.
An insider said show staffers’absolutely shocked, very intrigued about how they’re going to write this – and very excited. She said she would never! She said she’d never come back!’
It was alleged that her scene was being filmed in a city car in a parking garage near Silvercup Studios in Queens.
Sex And The City designer Patricia Field, who is not the costume designer for AJLT, returned to dress Cattrall for the scene. The second season of AJLT premieres June 22 on Max.

Samantha did star in season one of AJLT – but only via text, as Carrie repeatedly messaged her to try and mend their friendship. AJLT saw Carrie claim that Samantha cut her off and moved to London – due to anger at the writer who fired her as a publicist – in a storyline that criticized Cattrall for not being authentic to the character.
The explosive reveal will both delight and shock fans of SATC, as Cattrall has previously refused to ever reprise her favorite role as the man-hungry publicist – having last played the character in the much-derided 2010 film, Sex and the city 2.

Meanwhile, in the same interview, Kristin got candid about the criticism she received for trying to maintain a more youthful appearance.
The star – who will appear next month in the second season of the show’s spin-off – told The Telegraph that she has been “mercilessly ridiculed” about her use of fillers.
“It’s hard to be confronted with your younger self at all times,” Kristin told the outlet.
She continued, “And it’s a challenge to remember that you don’t have to look like that. The internet wants you to do that, but they don’t want you to either. They are very conflicted.’

“I did fillers and it was good and I did fillers and it was bad,” Kristin admitted. “I have had to disband them and I have been relentlessly ridiculed. And I shed tears for it. It’s very stressful.’
Kristin also revealed that “people blame us personally when things go wrong,” rather than the doctor who did the job.
And the Holiday in the Wild star also paid attention to the lip fillers she received, which were criticized when the Sex and the City spin-off debuted later in 2021.
“Nobody told me it didn’t look good for a long time,” Kristin said.
‘But luckily I have good friends who finally said it. The thing is, you don’t smile at yourself in the mirror. Who smiles at themselves in the mirror? Crazy people.’
The interview comes a few days after Kristin and her SATC co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker, 58, and Cynthia Nixon, 57, got together to celebrate 25 years since the first episode of the iconic HBO show premiered.
