Seven undecided female voters in NC blast Trump in interview with liberal CNN and say this is the GOP front runner’s biggest issue with women

A group of self-identified undecided female voters in North Carolina had some harsh words for former President Donald Trump during a roundtable discussion with liberal channel CNN.

While President Joe Biden’s re-election bid against Trump remains fragile, his campaign has stated that they believe one of the best ways to achieve victories is by referencing Trump’s alleged cruelty to women. However, a January poll showed that Biden’s lead over Trump among young women, as in many demographics, had narrowed.

CNN hosted a focus group around women voters in North Carolina, a state that Trump won in both 2020 and 2016 but is still on the Democratic wish list to turn blue for the first time since 2008.

Two of the women voted for Trump, but all are concerned about the president’s legal troubles. One woman – Shante Williams – was so disgusted she demanded he be placed in the hole.

‘I do not mind! Put him under jail! We do not shy away from placing other prisoners in solitary confinement,” she said. β€œPut him down there and shut up. He can talk to the walls. He can talk to the rats. I do not mind.’

Several panelists seemed to believe that Trump was unlikely to ever see any consequences for his action.

β€œHe sees himself completely as Teflon,” Trish Saemann said. “Nothing sticks in his mind and I’m really nervous that he’s starting to look like he’s right.”

All panelists believed Trump should face justice, saying there were simply too many charges against the president to ignore.

‘How many times can you say it’s a witch hunt? I’m personally tired of hearing it,” said one of the undecided.

They all confirmed that if he were convicted in the Stormy Daniels hush money case, they would never consider voting for him.

President Joe Biden recently tried to hit Donald Trump on the abortion issue in an appeal to women during a rare visit to the former president’s home state of Florida last week.

The president’s campaign argues that once Florida’s abortion law goes into effect β€” which bans abortions after six weeks, which is before many women know they are pregnant β€” there will be an effective abortion ban across the southeastern part of the country.

β€œMany women in the Southeast may have to drive a day or more to reach the nearest clinic,” Biden campaign director Michael Tyler said in a call with reporters on Monday.

β€œThere is one person responsible for this atrocity and that is Donald Trump.”

The president’s re-elected team also argued that Florida is in play for them this cycle.

β€œWith our large cash advantage, the Biden campaign has many paths to victory, including Florida,” Tyler said.

Biden and his team have tried to tie the 2024 election to access to reproductive rights across the country.

They see it as a top issue – and a winning issue for them – in every battleground state across the country.

Abortion rights proved to be a winning issue for Democrats in the 2022 midterm elections, when the party fared much better than expected.

Biden has taken advantage of the series of abortion laws enacted across the country since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.

Earlier this month, Trump said the decision on the abortion issue should be left up to individual states.

β€œMy view now is that we have abortion where everyone wanted it from a legal point of view, the states will determine this by vote or legislation, or perhaps both. And whatever they decide, it must be the law of the land. In this case, the law of the state,” the former president said in a video on his Truth Social account.

Some conservatives condemned Trump for his position. He had previously hinted that he would accept a nationwide ban on 15-week abortions.
