Seven star and TV vet Dr Chris Brown reveals how he leapt into action to help pregnant woman going into labour on a plane

He is one of the Seven Network’s biggest new stars after finding fame as a TV vet.

But Dr. Chris Brown has revealed how he once found himself in the middle of a very human medical emergency while flying between Sydney and Brisbane.

The tragedy occurred mid-flight when Chris, 45, was called to help a pregnant passenger who was in dire distress.

“They called a doctor, and I couldn’t resist,” he said during an appearance on he Check out Network’s Carrie and Tom show on Wednesday.

“I was like, ‘I’m glad to at least have a chat and maybe my bedside manner can help [her] Through”.’

TV vet Dr. Chris Brown has revealed how he once found himself in the middle of a very human medical emergency while flying between Sydney and Brisbane.

However, when it turned out that the heavily pregnant woman was panicking, Chris took action.

“She was very close to giving birth and she was having blood pressure problems,” he told hosts Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little.

“She was sweating a little bit, and I talked her through and diagnosed the problem.”

Chris added that he was able to help ease the woman’s distress and put her at ease.

“She was a little dehydrated. And so we let her lift her legs a little bit, we let her calm down, we put her chair back, we just relaxed her. And then we brought him in for a landing.”

It comes after the fan favorite recently opened up about his hopes of one day starting a family.

He said that after devoting the past decade to his career, he still wants to be a father.

Dr. Chris said he offered comfort to the heavily pregnant woman who was in dire need

‘I still think that is a big priority. Would I have wanted to do something about that in the past five years? Probably,” he said in an interview with Stellar earlier this month.

Chris, who will soon be seen in Seven’s new renovation show Dream Home, added that he didn’t want to “force things” and end up in a “rushed” situation.

“I feel like it will happen if it happens,” the former I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here host continued.

It comes after Chris quit Channel 10 and signed a two-year contract with Seven worth more than $1 million a year.
