At least seven people, including a 15-year-old, were shot on a crowded Florida boardwalk over Memorial Day weekend.
The gunfire began shortly before 8 p.m. Monday in the area of the 1200 block of the North Boardwalk in Hollywood Beach, near Miami.
An online video showed the moment gunfire erupted at the popular hot spot. The crowd frantically dispersed for cover and away from danger when gunfire began to ring out near the Margaritaville resort.
Other videos from the scene showed rescuers treating several victims as they lay along the sand.

The situation has been described as a mass casualty incident.
Hollywood Beach Mayor Josh Levy said so Sun Sentinel South Florida that ambulance personnel were on site and that some victims were taken to hospital.
“It looked like people had been caught in the crossfire. But I can’t verify that,” Levy said.
Police cannot say if they have any suspects in custody.
The beach has seen a rush of visitors for the three-day weekend in recent days.
