Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane has a new furry companion in his life.
The funnyman’s new friend is a sweet black cat adopted from the Perry’s Place Heaven on Earth cat rescue center in Los Angeles.
The charity posted a photo to Instagram on Monday of a smiling Seth, 49, wearing a black T-shirt and hoodie as he held his new feline named Arthur.

‘Arthur found his forever home,’ the rescue group wrote, ‘Congratulations to both Arthur and Seth! What a wonderful way to start Perry’s Place’s tenth year.’

An elated volunteer at the shelter, which advertises its rescues as Naughty Cat of the Week and Nice Cat of the Week, wrote about the ordeal Arthur went through before finding his forever home.
‘POV: You’re a black cat with a broken paw dumped at a vet clinic to be euthanized but eventually rescued by the amazing team @perrys_place-la. Then you waited 7 months to find your forever home and now you live with the legend @macfarlaneseth.’
Good news: The charity shared the good news in an Instagram post, which Zoeey Deschanel and many others liked. Arthur came to the shelter with a broken leg and was there for seven months before he was adopted.
