The note reminds parents that they can raise $150 per child to help with uniforms, shoes, bags, textbooks and stationery.
But the coupons can only be used at listed businesses and must be spent by June 30, 2023.
Parents, guardians and carers must apply for vouchers and prove they are NSW residents, that their child is enrolled in school or registered for homeschooling and is on a valid Medicare card.
Children doing the equivalents of years 11 and 12 at TAFE are also eligible for vouchers.
Applying is done via the My Services NSW app, children wishing to apply need to go to a Service NSW office.
The post had parents asking about similar schemes in their home states.
