Serial killer Jeffery Dahmer was asked by his father what his most disturbing and earliest fantasy was during never-before-heard prison phone conversations, a new documentary has revealed.
Between 1978 and 1991, Jeffrey Dahmer raped, murdered and cannibalized seventeen young men in Wisconsin and Ohio. He was convicted in 1992 and murdered in prison two years later at the age of 34.
In the new phone recordings, Lionel Dahmer can be heard telling his son that he too had “weird thoughts” when he was younger, but that he “never got caught.”
The correspondence took place between the father and his twisted son during his time in prison, before he was murdered.
The FOX Nation documentary “My Son Jeffrey: The Dahmer Family Tapes,” airing September 18, revealed that Lionel Dahmer told his son, “I had strange thoughts as a child. You’re just like me Jeff.

“It’s amazing that all the times I should have gotten caught, I never did.”
The father then says during the prison phone call, “Nothing, absolutely nothing is too big not to be forgiven.”
And Lionel then asks his murderous son, “What was the very first fantasy, I wondered, that you remember having that you thought was quite strange or disturbing?”
The four-part documentary will air exclusive home videos of the Dahmer family and “new insight into one of the world’s most infamous series of crimes.”
Records show Lionel now lives with his second wife, Shari, in Seville, Ohio, about 25 miles west of Akron. He has been divorced from his son’s mother, Joyce, since 1978 after she had an affair.
He wrote the 1994 memoir ‘A Father’s Story’, in which he told his side of his son’s horrific crimes.
Dahmer, who was already a convicted sex offender, was sent to prison in 1991 after confessing to killing 17 men and boys between the ages of 14 and 33.
His brutal murders, which lasted ten years from 1978, included rape, torture, mutilation, necrophilia and cannibalism. He was beaten to death by fellow inmate Christopher Scarver in 1994.
Dahmer’s twisted crimes and life were serialized last year in the hit Netflix documentary Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.
During the day, Dahmer worked in a chocolate factory, but at night he sought out many of his victims in gay bars. He invited them to his Milwaukee home so they could drink alcohol and he could take pictures of them naked.
Dahmer, who was already a convicted sex offender, was sent to prison in 1991 after confessing to killing 17 men and boys between the ages of 14 and 33.

Dahmer would then drug and murder his victims by strangling or stabbing them. The killer dismembered his victims, ate parts of their bodies, and kept others in his refrigerator or other parts of his home.
But he was caught in July 1991 when his 18th intended victim, 52-year-old Tracy Edwards, escaped after Dahmer handcuffed him and tried to attack him with a knife.
Edwards flagged down a passing police car and officers entered the house to speak with the calm Dahmer.

However, when they searched his apartment, they found photos of mutilated bodies on the walls and a severed head in the refrigerator.
He was arrested and admitted to killing 17 young men; his youngest victim – Konerak Sinthasomphone – was 14 years old and his eldest – Eddie Smith – was 36 years old.
A total of 74 Polaroid photographs have been found showing the mutilation of Dahmer’s victims.
Dahmer pleaded guilty and was sentenced to sixteen life sentences in 1992; the death penalty was not an option.
Human skulls and a barrel he used to transport his victims were found during police searches at Dahmer’s home after his arrest.
