Sergio Busquets will reportedly make a decision on his future today as he weighs whether to join Lionel Messi at Inter Miami.
Busquets was given an emotional farewell to Barcelona this summer after 15 years at the Catalan club, but he is determined to keep playing.
The 34-year-old midfielder, along with his family, has been considering offers – including lucrative contracts from Saudi Arabia – and Mundo Deportivo reports that he will announce his next move on Friday.
He is rumored to be choosing between three teams: Al Hilal, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr and Messi’s Inter Miami in MLS.
A move to Miami will surely be even more attractive than before, after Messi announced his intention to join Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday.

Busquets and Messi have been close at Barcelona for over a decade and it is rumored that the pair have made an unwritten agreement that they will play together for one more season before calling it quits.
MD reports that Busquets is drawn to living in a city like Miami, something that would also appeal to his wife and two children.
But it is in Saudi Arabia where Busquets ponders the more ‘lucrative’ offers as he heads into the final years of his professional career.
Speaking this week, Ronaldo believes his move to Saudi Arabia earlier this year opened “a box” for other players, possibly like Busquets, to make the move.
Ronaldo left Manchester United before signing a mega £175 million a year contract with Al-Nassr.
Since then, Saudi Pro League clubs have become more involved in the European transfer market and have repeatedly been linked with transfers of some of football’s biggest talents.
Karim Benzema – the reigning Ballon d’Or winner – stunned European fans by transferring to Real Madrid’s Al-Ittihad in the biggest coup for the Saudi Pro League since the arrival of Ronaldo.

“I knew my departure to Saudi Arabia would open a box and I wasn’t wrong,” Ronaldo admitted.
“I am sure that in a few years or three years this competition will be one of the most important competitions in the world.
“Karim has already left and I am 1000 percent sure many more players will.”
Ronaldo’s move to Saudi Arabia has seemingly been the turning point in the division’s recruiting campaign, with few elite players making the move, with Busquets possibly next.
