Sergio Aguero showed a flash of his past by scoring a goal during The Soccer Tournament – a 7-on-7 competition – in Cary, North Carolina.
On Wednesday night, the Manchester City legend showed he hadn’t missed a beat with his scoring prowess as his Aguero team took on La Mexicana Express.
The game started when the Argentinian received the ball during a turn on his team’s side. He then plays a one-two with his teammate to divide their defenders.
After finding space, Aguero made a touch to set the ball down and another to push it forward before striking it with his right foot.
With a central defender blocking the goalkeeper’s goal, Aguero curled the ball over the defender and into the goal. The former Premier League star clenched his fist and pointed at the camera in celebration.

Aguero’s team took to the pitch in the club’s 2024-2025 kits, and behind one of the pitches is the Premier League trophy and a photo of Aguero’s iconic title-winning goal against QPR.
