England manager Gareth Southgate will let his players enjoy 24 hours with their WAGs and families today – despite last night’s disappointing draw against Denmark.
The partners of players including Harry Kane, Jordan Pickford and Bukayo Saka have been invited to England’s Blankenhain base camp to take their minds off the pressure of trying to win Euro 24.
England will stay in a luxury resort that is isolated from public view and offers the star players ultimate privacy.
But a short break after the second match with their partners was pre-planned before the tournament started for the team.
England had hoped to have qualified as certain Group C winners this weekend and give the players some time off, but the result against the Danes means qualification is still not guaranteed.

All women and partners have been invited to the England camp, including Lewis Dunk’s girlfriend Abi Yaxley, Jordan Pickford’s wife Megan Davison and Ollie Watkins’ partner Ellie Alderson.
It is unclear whether Kyle Walker’s wife Annie Kilner, who reportedly preferred to fly in and out of Germany for every match, will also attend the weekend party.
But her husband hopes his former mistress Lauryn Goodman, the father of her two children, does not travel to the area.
The Brighton-based influencer flew to Germany with Walker’s son Kairo and was photographed on the pitch where England drew 1-1 with Denmark.
She reportedly filmed a WAGs documentary and was followed by a film crew.
The WAGS will enjoy saunas, massages, a plunge pool and steam room and the most delicious food during their short stay.
England is located at the Weimarer Land Golf and Spa resort in Blankenhain – costs around £800,000 and all 94 rooms are FA secured.
The suites have giant TVs, comfortable sofas and additional walk-in showers stocked with Clarins bathroom accessories.

The players and their partners can have breakfast in brightly lit restaurants with salmon, organic sourdough bread and eggs and freshly squeezed orange juice on the menu, along with locally produced honey.
The dinner menu is also overseen by chefs who have been hired and engaged by the Football Association to ensure they have the best nutritional food so they can give their best during the month-long competition.
But FA’s kitchen staff has Michelin chefs Danny Schwabe and Marcello Fabbri from the complex’s restaurants The Augusta and The Masters on hand to provide a la carte food.
The two top chefs’ specialties include smoked roast beef with celery and focaccia, pink veal fillets with herbs and fried bread dumplings with beetroot and melted onions.
The hotel’s robot, Robbie, also drives around the team, taking plates from the kitchen and taking them away after use.
The English stars may only enjoy a drink when they’re not on international or club duty, but their hotel has racks of the finest wines on display as they move around the hotel.
Sommelier Thomas Stobbe said: ‘The players may not be drinking, but we have the best wines here. The most expensive is a 2001 Amarone Valpolicella, which costs around £680 per bottle. But the shelves will be locked.”
