Senator Tim Scott marries interior designer Mindy Noce at fabulous Charleston wedding

South Carolina Republican Senator Tim Scott, 58, is finally off the job market.

The longtime single senator married his fiancée, interior designer Mindy Noce, 47, on Saturday at a lavish party in Charleston.

Their wedding comes several months after critics claimed they only got engaged in January, just before the New Hampshire primary, as he was running for Donald Trump’s vice president.

Scott dropped out of the presidential race last year before the Iowa caucuses and has been a staunch ally of the MAGA movement.

But despite the setback, Scott and his blushing bride, the mother of three, made it official Saturday at a bash in Charleston, which featured small local businesses and was filled with family and friends who danced the night away.

A source told DailyMail.com that the loved-up couple were married by Reverend Greg Surratt in Mt. Pleasant at their home chapel at Seacoast Church.

The wedding included Scott’s brother Ben and Mindy’s best friend Joni. The reception featured local Charleston small businesses such as Creech’s Florist and Rian Fuller Photography. Local food was also served from Hall’s Chophouse.

The newlyweds kicked off their marriage by dancing to Johnny Rivers’ Swayin’ to the Music (Slow Dancing) in front of an audience of political stars, DailyMail.com can reveal.

Senators John Thune, R-S.D., Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., James Lankford, R-Okla., and John Barrasso, R-Wyo., along with former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and former Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., and former Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam rounded out the crowd.

Noce recently spoke candidly about her heaven-given love story with the Republican senator and how she deals with critics.

Scott proposed to interior designer and mother of three Noce in January, just before the New Hampshire primary.

Noce, a Charleston-based designer, has three adult children with her ex-husband. Scott, who has never been married, is thrilled to be a stepfather.

During an interview with Fox News in June, Noce recounted how mutual friends tried to set them up on a pickleball date before they attended a Bible study together.

She thought their bond was “heaven-sent.”

Fox News host Ainsley Earhardt then asked Noce how she knew Scott was “the one.”

“God will show you the way,” Noce answered.

She added that she ignores critics who say they married him because he was a presidential candidate and are “angry that he’s a black man.”

Fox & Friends host Ainsley Earhardt quizzed the couple about the criticism they’ve received, particularly from ABC’s The View, which alleged that the senator only got engaged to be in the vice presidential race.

“They’re ridiculous, period. They’re not just comments about me, they’re paid to put people down,” Scott responded.

He added that he “goes into prayer” when negativity about their relationship surfaces.

Scott said he had been “praying for years” to find a woman. And he knew she was the one from their first conversation.

She laughs and understands the love for the country and the love [of] the Lord,” he explained. She’s “attractive, family, dedicated to the country. It’s a pretty good deal.”

The couple went on to describe the romantic nature of Scott’s proposal on “one of the coldest days in January.”

They took a walk along the beach and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. When Scott asked Noce to take off her gloves,

“I said no,” Noce replied… “until I saw him get the ring.”

“I got down on my knees, I felt a wave of emotion hit me like a ton of bricks. I really want to spend the rest of my life with this woman. And what a blessing,” Scott exulted.

“I’m a good listener, I pride myself on that. I’ll pray and pray a lot, be a prayer warrior for him, support him, be a listener and love him is my role.

“He is devoted to his lord and savior, to his family. He is devoted to his friends and his country.”

Scott and Noce will marry on August 3 at Seacrest Church in Charleston.

The Republican senator recently spoke enthusiastically about the idea of ​​becoming a stepfather once the couple gets married.

Before he met Noce, he was conspicuously quiet about his love life, even admitting that he had been a virgin for years.

Scott put an end to months of speculation about his love life by bringing his girlfriend onstage after the Republican presidential debate in Miami last November.

He posed for photos with the mother of three behind his debate podium and briefly held her hand, a touching moment after a tense night in the GOP primaries.
