Sen. Lindsey Graham warns threat of another 9/11-level attack is GROWING ‘every day’ under Biden

Senator Lindsey Graham claims the threat of another 9/11-style attack has never been greater thanks to President Joe Biden's lax foreign affairs policies.

The South Carolina Republican noted that Biden's FBI Director Christopher Wray has issued warnings about the current threat levels facing the homeland, and Graham blasted the president for not securing the border sufficiently to prevent high-risk individuals from passing undetected would cross the border.

Hamas terrorists attacked Israel on October 7 – leading to the largest massacre of Jewish people in a single day since the Holocaust and an ensuing months-long battle. It has also heightened tensions and increased concerns about an attack on U.S. soil.

“To President Biden: On your watch, the conditions for a September 11th are greater than anything I have seen since September 11th,” Graham told Fox News on Wednesday. “According to your own FBI director, the threat level against America is at an all-time high. He sees flashing lights everywhere.”

“Since October 7, when we helped Israel after Hamas' barbaric attack, all jihadist groups in the world have been urging their members to attack us here at home,” he added. 'The border is more than broken; more than 9,000 cross every day. It's unsustainable.'

'The chance of another 9/11 grows every day.'

Senator Graham is pushing back against some of the more populist members of his party who don't want to send more aid to Ukraine, but is still critical of Biden for not standing up to Russian President Vladimir Putin before the invasion nearly two years ago.

The US has already sent about $75 billion in military aid to Kiev so far, but Biden wants to send even more, adding that to a sweeping $100 billion package of combined aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.

“If we give up on Ukraine, we'll have a broader war,” Graham said, but added: “The last person I want to lecture about Ukraine is Joe Biden.”

Biden has been vilified for ignoring problems at the southern border as he pushes for more help for Ukraine to defend its borders against Russia after its February 2022 invasion.

While Graham told Martha McCallum on The Story that he agrees that more security is needed at the border, he also agrees with Biden that it is necessary to send aid to Ukraine.

Graham told Fox News: “To President Biden: On your watch, the circumstances for a 9/11 are greater than anything I have seen since 9/11. According to your own FBI director, the threat level against America is at an all-time high. He sees flashing lights everywhere

“If President Biden had given Ukraine the weapons they needed early on, they would have done even better than they are now,” he claimed. “He was slow to give tanks, didn't want to give F-16s, didn't want to give long-range artillery.”

“He could have opposed Putin before the invasion, but he was afraid to be provocative,” the South Carolina senator said.

However, he emphasized that “we are not going to help Ukraine until we help ourselves,” asserting that the focus should be on securing the border and preventing the threat of terrorist attacks on the homeland.

Graham, a longtime friend of Biden's, said he warned the president upon his election that reversing all of Donald Trump's policies would cause the federal government to “lose control of the border.”
