Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause takes on exciting hosting role on popular ‘throuple’ dating show Love Triangle
Chrishell Stause has been announced as the host of the first ever reunion special of hit Australian dating show Love Triangle.
The Selling Sunset star, 43, will delve into all the drama of the upcoming third season of the ‘throuple’ dating show in her exciting new role.
With filming already underway, Chrishell will probe the contestants on the third series drama in a special that will air after the show returns to Stan in 2025.
The show, where contestants form connections only to add a third suitor to their union, has never had a reunion before.
Chrishell is no stranger to the explosive drama and revelations of a reality show reunion, having appeared firsthand in the Selling Sunset reunions.
She told Ny Breaking Australia about the role: ‘I’m so excited to jump into this role, it felt a lot more comfortable being in the guest seat and not the hot seat!
‘I was so excited because I’m normally such a fan and viewer of these types of shows, so it was really nice to be able to ask exactly what I wanted to ask.
“Normally I’m on the TV yelling at my screen, so that was fun.”

She added in a press release: “I know firsthand the drama that plays out both on and off camera in an unscripted series.
“There’s so much happening behind the scenes that the audience doesn’t witness, so I’m here to bring out those stories and encourage the cast to speak their truth and share their feelings.
“I’m also not afraid to hold people accountable for their actions – so get ready, it’s going to be one epic reunion!”
The show will follow five singles as they try to find a more meaningful connection, blindly pairing them up after only speaking via text message.
After meeting two singles virtually, they must choose who to date in the real world and move in with them before meeting in person for the first time.

However, the rejected suitor also ends up at the stock house and their connections are put to the ultimate test when two become three.
Chrishell said she was drawn to the show’s concept after finding her “soulmate”, her Australian wife G Flip, after throwing away her own dating limitations.
“I like the idea of getting out of our heads and out of our boxes. “I’m definitely in favor of people falling in love with the person,” she said.
‘I don’t think it really matters how tall someone is, what color hair someone has, personally I don’t care what gender someone is!
“The perfect person is from the point of view of, if you do exactly what you think you want, you might miss the best catch there ever was for you.
“By throwing all that out the window, I found my soulmate.”
Chrishell first confirmed her romance with G Flip — who is non-binary and uses their pronouns — at the Selling Sunset reunion in May 2022, but the pair first met in October 2021.

The couple then tied the knot in a secret wedding in Las Vegas in May 2023 and held another ceremony in Melbourne in September for musician G Flip’s Australian family and friends.
The previous series Love Triangle, which was created by the same producers of MAFS, featured bombshells from secret girlfriends to cheating scandals.
The favorite groom, whose identity has not yet been revealed, is ready to stir the pot again in what promises to be the most explosive season yet.
In a groundbreaking first for the Stan dating show, the third season will also feature a same-sex couple.
The Australian series originally launched in 2022 and has since become an international sensation, selling the format to multiple overseas territories.
British broadcaster Channel 4 has ordered a local version for their channel E4, where it can also be streamed on Stan.

Cailah Scobie, Chief Content Officer at Stan, expressed her excitement about the success of the show and the upcoming season.
“Love Triangle has cemented its status as a must-watch reality dating series, delving into the intricacies of modern relationships,” she said.
“As a globally recognized format, Love Triangle has been hugely successful, and we eagerly look forward to introducing audiences to a new group of singles in season three.”
The brand new season of the Stan Original Series Love Triangle will premiere in 2025. Every episode of season 1 And 2 are streaming now, only on Stan.
