“I just felt it in my heart, I knew I was a match. I knew it would happen,” she said on the Good Guys podcast.
“Nobody forced me to do anything. It came from the genuine kindness of my heart and I’ve been super blessed ever since,” she added.
She also revealed that she considers herself a “walking success story,” explaining that she now takes better care of herself than before.
Raisa first met Gomez in 2007 when they were teenagers and they immediately developed a close bond and attended a number of red carpet events together. But since donating a kidney to Gomez, the pair have had a rocky relationship and have been feuding in public for months.
