Selena Gomez is the queen of chic as she joins Zoe Saldana at Emilia Perez screening in NYC

Selena Gomez and her co-star, Zoe Saldana, stunned in stylish ensembles as they stopped by a screening of their upcoming film Emilia Perez in New York City on Wednesday.

The Wolves singer, 32 – who was criticized by fans for giving a homeless man a $20 bill – was seen outside the Crosby Street Hotel in the Big Apple with the Avatar actress, 46.

The pair starred in the Spanish-language film, which will be available on Netflix in the US and UK from November 13.

Gomez turned heads in a fitted black shirt with ruffles that was tucked into the waist of loose-fitting black pants that were secured with a black belt.

She paired the look with a black blazer that was unbuttoned at the front to keep her warm during the fall temperatures.

Selena donned a pair of black closed-toed heels to match the color scheme of her monochrome outfit.

As she made her way through a busy sidewalk in the bustling city, the star also carried a black YSL bag in her left hand.

Her dark locks were parted in the middle and flowed effortlessly down her shoulders in light waves.

Gomez opted for minimal accessories and added a pair of dangling earrings, as well as a pair of statement rings on her hands.

The Rare Beauty founder’s makeup was done classically for the outing and consisted of a coat of mascara on her lashes and a thin, black eyeliner.

A warm blush was applied to her cheekbones for a radiant glow, while a darker nude shade was worn on her lips for a finishing touch.

Zoe also put on a fashionable appearance as she donned a black and white colored dress with sheer fabric at the top.

The Guardians Of The Galaxy actress teamed the look with a long, black Fendi coat and donned a pair of white closed-toe pumps.

Her dark brown hair was parted in the middle and fell in elegant waves past her shoulders.

Zoe added a few rings to accessorize the look, but opted not to add any other statement jewelry.

Saldana smiled brightly as she arrived at the hotel in SoHo and gave a friendly wave to fans waiting nearby.

Selena played the role of Jessie in the film, while Zoe portrayed Rita alongside other stars such as Karla Sofia Gascon, Edgar Ramirez and Adriana Paz.

The premise is: “In Mexico, a lawyer receives an unexpected offer to help a feared cartel boss retire and disappear forever by becoming the woman he always dreamed of.” IMDB.

Emilia Perez first premiered in May at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, where the film was up for the Palme d’Or.

The project ultimately won the Jury Prize at the festival, while the female ensemble won the Best Actress award.

The musical crime comedy was released in theaters in France in August – and will be released on Netflix on November 13.

The film was also selected as the French entry for Best International Feature Film for the upcoming 97th Academy Awards.

Selena has previously opened up about Emilia Perez and her role – and during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter last month in September, she opened up about the bond she shares with her fellow castmates.

‘I am so grateful to have women around me who boost me in every way possible. And yes, I have a special bond with these women.’

She added, “I am so grateful to be on this journey with them. We are also happy for each other and encourage each other, and I love that. That may be rare.’

Zoe also told the outlet, “I think the award we all received at Cannes was only possible because of the collaboration and camaraderie we had.”

‘Of course everyone had their own journeys. But we supported each other from the start and that was palpable. And that it is seen and recognized? It’s really fun.’

Most recently, Selena and Zoe attended the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations event in New York on Tuesday to talk about Emilia Perez.

They were also joined by Karla Sofia Gascon for a photo session and on stage during a panel discussion.
