Announcing the launch, Ms Paltrow, 50, said: ‘Something we believe in at Goop is that real fulfillment comes from really knowing yourself and feeling comfortable enough to show up in the world and in your relationships as your whole yourself. An important pillar in this is how we think about our sexuality.’ She added that Goopsex was “a place for the pursuit of fun, where you can stay up to date with our latest content on sex, intimacy and relationships.”

Paltrow was clearly keen to heed her own advice and ended by saying, “See you there.”

The first post on the account shows two women with their legs intertwined and offers a link to “a guide based on what kind of stimulation you’re looking for” when it comes to toys in the bedroom.

There are also reports of how to create “complacency” in times of “overwhelming stress” and how dirty talk can make you a “more confident sexual communicator.”

The Iron Man star, who launched Goop as a newsletter in 2008, is no stranger to talking about sex. In 2021, she fronted a Netflix show, Sex, Love and Goop, in which the actress helped couples who wanted to spice up their sex life and achieve greater intimacy.

While promoting the show, Ms. Paltrow told Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk that she was enjoying the best sex of her life, adding, “But I’m newlywed so it’s like maybe I’m cheating a little bit.”

Ms Paltrow married television producer Brad Falchuk in 2018 after divorcing Coldplay singer Chris Martin with whom she has two children.

Goop, who is worth an estimated £200 million, sells sex toys on his online store, the most expensive of which is the £1,000 Gold Wand – ‘the Cadillac of sex toys’.
