Shoppers can save on their grocery bills after Coles lowered and locked down prices on hundreds of items.
The prices of more than 480 products will remain “expired and locked” until at least July 4, while the prices of 208 items will remain low until August 29.
There are big savings on things like meats, pantry staples, cleaning supplies, breads, ready meals, and fresh produce, including apples in season.
Customers can buy a whole leg of lamb to roast at a 20 percent discount for $12 per kilo — down from $15 — or a boneless pork loin for $12 per kilo, down from $14.
La Espanola Extra Virgin and Light Olive Oil 500ml bottles are 46.2 percent off for just $7 each.

Cole’s Turkish sandwiches are only $2.80 for a pack of four, while six-packs of Golden Crumpet Squares, normally $4.90, are $3.50.

Scott Montague, managing director of Coles’ apple supplier Montague of Narre Warren in Victoria, said they have been working with the supermarket to secure low prices for the fruit this winter.
“It’s a great time of year to buy and eat apples. We still have a few weeks to pick in our winter harvest and mini apples are sweet, in season and a good way to get vitamin C and antioxidants into the kids,” he said.
Coles Executive General Manager Fresh Andy Mossop said he hopes the Dropped and Locked offer will help Aussies find healthy produce for less.
“We understand that winter can be a challenging time to budget for fresh and healthy food options,” he said.
