Secret identity of woman arrested for ‘cooking her mother’s dismembered body parts in an oven’ revealed

A woman arrested for allegedly cooking her mother’s dismembered body parts in an oven had a secret identity.

Torilena May Fields, 32, was taken into custody last week after Kentucky State Police found the body of her 68-year-old mother, Trudy, in the backyard of her Mount Olivet home with body parts being cooked in a pot.

She is now accused of shooting her mother in the head and stabbing her several times before “decapitating, dismembering, disembowelling her mother’s corpse and removing her head, hands, feet and forearms placed in a pot in the oven and heated until charred. ‘, according to a complaint obtained by the Lexington Herald-Leader.

But relatives and friends say Torilena, or Tori, grew up as a stereotypical “country girl” with loving parents.

They say her problems only started after she moved to California to pursue a career as an actor and singer under the name Naomi Navarre.

Olivia Brock, Fields’ cousin, said she still sees Torilena as a “little girl with classic blonde curls who plays the piano.”

“She was a great pianist,” Brock told Fox 56 Newsnoting that she grew up with chickens and horses and was a “country girl” with “bouncy little blonde curls.”

Fields graduated from Bracken County High School in 2011 and was a member of the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America track team, which was voted “biggest flirt.”

In her high school yearbook, her parents celebrated her achievements with baby photos and a message that read, “We love you and wish you the best and brightest future.”

‘Phil. 4:-13 I can do all things through Christ, which strengthens me. Love and prayers always, Mom, Dad and family,” Fox 56 reported.

Torilena also wrote in her senior spotlight that she aspired to become a “famous singer and shock the world.”

“If I don’t succeed, I plan to go to college and go crazy in the fitness industry.”

She added as a senior quote, “Life is what it is. There are two kinds of people in the world: those who are forgotten and those who are remembered.

“I choose to be remembered.”

Brandon Shankle said he remembered Torilena as a fitness enthusiast who was outgoing, funny and friendly

From there, Torilena attended Morehead State University, where she met Brandon Shankle in an English class.

He said he remembered his friend as a fitness enthusiast who was outgoing, funny and friendly.

“There just wasn’t anything that really bothered her,” Shankle said. ‘She was very outgoing, energetic, tough and funny.

“I wouldn’t say we were best friends forever, but you know, we were so close that I was just stunned when I heard this news. You know, that’s not the person I knew,” he said.

Shankle said Fox 56 Fields was studying criminology, but he didn’t notice any “red flags” while they were classmates.

“It’s just one of those things that comes out of left field and shocks you,” he said of the alleged grizzly killing.

‘It really turned me around, ’cause I mean, [the allegations are] so barbaric and gruesome.’

After college, Fields moved to California in hopes of becoming a model, actress, recording artist and singer – using the name Naomi Navarre

After college, Fields moved to California in hopes of becoming a model, actress, recording artist and singer.

It was there that she started using the name Naomi Navarre and presented herself as an influencer with 154,000 followers on her Instagram account dedicated to modeling, acting, art, fitness and nutrition.

However, those photos were not of the girl Shankle remembered, he said, and he described the photos showing Torilena with what appears to be a red wing with bangs as “unclear.”

“I know the character she presented, and I assume it’s an alternate identity she had,” he said.

“You know, when I look at that social media profile of hers, I think, ‘That’s not the Tori I knew in college.'”

Still, Navarre apparently had some success in Hollywood.

IMDB says she is known for her roles in the 2019 films The Desert Project and A Dance Story.

“She was an actress and out there doing her thing, and I think a few months ago we got word that she had been in a bad motorcycle accident and suffered a brain injury,” her cousin Olivia said.

‘And [she] was, I think, wandering around Cali. Didn’t know her name. I didn’t know where she belonged.

“I think people down there were trying to get her help but couldn’t, so that’s when Trudy stepped in to help.”

Shankle also noted that Navarra has not been active on her Instagram since 2022, suggesting that she may have been going through some tough times.

Torilena then returned home in August, which came as a surprise to the family, they said.

Todd Brock, Torilena’s uncle, also said his niece is unrecognizable following news of his sister’s untimely death.

‘I think someone has lost control of his mind. Satanism or something brainwashed her, whatever witchcraft is.

“I heard she was into it, but the girl in the mugshot? That’s not the girl we know.’

Kentucky State Police responded to Torilena’s parents’ home on October 9, after a man working on the property followed drag marks in the grass and found Trudy’s dismembered body in the backyard.

According to police, the victim’s arms, legs and head were separated from her body.

The worker also discovered a pile of hair believed to be hers.

He then informed troopers that he had been at the property the day before and saw both the victim and Fields.

‘On [Oct. 8], [the witness] They said Torilena cast spells on them and was confrontational,” the troopers noted in the citation.

Police obtained a search warrant and entered the home after they were unable to contact Torilena.

When she finally emerged from her hiding place, she was covered in blood, they said.

A thorough search of the property revealed a bloody mattress containing ‘several body parts and organs’.

The researchers also discovered a pot in the oven that apparently contained cooked human body parts. The pot still felt warm.

Family members remembered Trudy Fields as a godly Christian woman who upheld the highest moral standards for herself and others

The Brock family is now struggling to accept what happened.

“How do you say, ‘I’m so sad and I want justice for my family member? But I’m also sad because my other family member isn’t doing well?’ Olivia said.

She and other family members have described Trudy as a loving and selfless woman who always prioritized the needs of her family.

Her sister, Diana Brock, said she was a godly Christian woman who upheld the highest moral standards for herself and others around her.

‘She was a hard worker – just call, something’s going on, I don’t care if you lost a tooth and yes, nothing is too small,’ Diana told WCPO.

She also said the Torilena family “never stopped loving.” “No matter what, you know?

“We don’t understand… we don’t disown people, no matter what you’ve done. We love and that is what God says.

“You know, you love unconditionally no matter what, and we’re just supporting the family and that’s what we’re trying to do.”

The family says they plan to attend Torilena’s court hearings to remember Trudy and seek answers on how to better support their niece and nephew.

She is charged with obstruction, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse. On Monday, a grand jury added murder and animal torture charges after allegedly torturing and killing a dog.

Torilena’s bond has since been set at $1.5 million, and she remains in custody at the Bourbon County Detention Center.

She is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on October 23.
