A shopper spilled the ‘well-kept secret’ on Facebook this week to help Aussies with their supermarket savings. She raved about the “competitive” prices, cheap cooking ingredients and endless rows of affordable spices.

The macadamia nuts, dried fruits, chocolates and lollipops are customer favorites.

‘Some are very well-known suppliers/manufacturers who supply the supermarket chains independently, so they cannot be advertised in store or online,’ said one regular customer.

She said some of these well-known products are on sale at Suntralis at discounts of up to 50 percent.

Customers also rave about the ‘juiciest’ raisins they’ve ever had and their tart peach hearts are constantly selling out.

Unlike many budget stores that offer deals on highly processed, packaged foods or foods that are close to their expiration date, Suntralis is a haven for those who cook a lot and care about the healthiness, quality and freshness of their ingredients.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics found that more Aussies are opting for quick and convenient food over healthier options due to rising costs, making Suntralis Foods a rare shopping experience in the current financial climate.
