Second female teacher Megan Gaither at Missouri high school is suspended for having an OnlyFans account as she slams her $47,000 salary and says porn makes her an extra $5,000 a month

A second teacher at a small Missouri high school has been suspended for having an OnlyFans account after cutting her $47,000 salary and saying porn earns her an extra $5,000 a month.

Megan Gaither, 31, was an English teacher and varsity cheerleading coach at St. Clair High School, but she was put on leave after a student left a note under her classroom door saying they “knew her secret.”

The married teacher had been working at the high school for four years and said she started her raunchy page to supplement her income — just like her colleague Brianna Coppage, who was exposed last month.

The teacher, who received a salary of $47,500 last year, said she hid “very well behind an alias and no facial photos” but was released against her will. On OnlyFans, she earned up to $5,000 a month.

The married teacher had been working at the high school for four years and said she started her raunchy page to supplement her income — just like her colleague Brianna Coppage, who was exposed last month.

She told me Post-shipping that the reason she turned to porn was to keep her financially strapped during the summer. She said: “Teaching does not support anyone financially.

“It’s very difficult to stretch those paychecks during the summer. That’s why I did it.’

After her fellow teaching colleague was outed, Gaither deactivated her OnlyFans account, which had about 1,500 subscribers, but the rumors continued to swirl.

Gaither appeared in a video on Coppage’s account last week after a party in the city – in which she wore a costume.

But people started putting two and two together when a photo of Gaither wearing the same costume to the party was publicly posted online.

She said, “I was maybe four minutes into the whole thing, and I definitely didn’t think it was going to ruin my whole career.”

The situation took a turn for the worse when a student slipped a note under her classroom door saying they knew her “secret,” Megan said.

Despite working at the same high school, Coppage and Gaither said they didn’t know the other had an OnlyFans account until June, when they let each other know at a teacher’s night.

Now, Gaither is considering leaving St. Clair with her husband and reactivating her OnlyFans account.

Gaither said she believes there are likely many teachers in the state with secret accounts.

She added: “To make change happen, you have to make noise. and I think Brianna did that. And I think maybe that’s what I’m preparing for: making noise about how unfair teacher pay can be.”

Gaither also wrote on Facebook: “I’ve been thinking a lot about whether I should say anything publicly about this, and for my own peace of mind I think I’ll just say this…

“I love education and teaching, and I loved seeing my students and cheerleaders learn and grow in themselves. I’m damn good at helping them do that.

‘You don’t get two master’s degrees to improve your craft and help your students if you don’t do that. So while I understand the stigma and the “you signed a contract stating how much you get paid” argument, I still maintain that “morality” is a sliding scale and what is moral to me may not be moral to you, and that’s OK.

‘Do not you like it? Don’t subscribe or follow.

‘I did NOT want this to happen. I hid very well behind an alias and no facial photos. The fact is that this choice has been taken away from me.

“I had several colleagues calling these newspapers to start my downfall here. Speculating about a photo and a video without proof was fine, but when you’re educated, you know… once the media gets their hands on something like this, it’s over.

“You will never work in this particular field again because you are infected and seen as a liability for a school. Once again we knew what the consequences would be if we were caught. I was NOT caught in the traditional sense of the word.

“The media would publish the story with or without my statement and my words. SO, I took back my story. I took control of what I could take control of.

“I didn’t have time to make this decision, so anyone who thought it was their right to send me to the media, with all due respect, would kindly leave my page and enjoy seeing me everywhere. Bc I’m making noise.

“I’m going to be loud and in your face about it. What adults do on their own time is their choice, and you have no right to dictate those choices for them, regardless of career choice.

“So I’m going to talk to the media. I will tell my story. And hey. At least I didn’t try to neglect my duties of paying back what I borrowed to get an education, right? I made the adult choice to get a side hustle. Guess what? So far so good.’

This comes after 28-year-old Brianna Coppage said she doesn’t regret leaving teaching as she used OnlyFans as a means to pay off her student loans.

According to the National Education Association, Missouri has one of the lowest starting salaries in the country for teachers. Coppage, who goes by the online nickname Brooklin Love, was in her second year as a teacher.

“I started it, firstly, to just supplement my income and see what happens and possibly make some extra money. For example, I have student loans. I was doing my third degree. So I also have a master’s degree in educational administration, and then I was working on my specialization diploma,” she told Fox News last week.

The teacher-turned-pornographer told the network that someone contacted her school district about the OnlyFans page in September, which led to her being placed on leave.

After being questioned about its nature, and whether it ever coincided with her teaching career, she told them it was “completely separate.”

Coppage — whose bio was updated this past week with a message to potential followers saying, “Yes… I am THAT teacher” — is still unsure about who tipped off school officials. She said she has gained thousands of followers thanks to posts about her story

Coppage was not asked to resign after the meeting and district officials took “all possible steps to ensure confidentiality” after Coppage’s page was discovered through social media posts, Superintendent Kyle Kruse told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

When she was placed on leave last month, Kruse said in a statement that “an employee may have posted inappropriate media on one or more Internet sites.”

Coppage said she was making up to $10,000 a month on the OnlyFans website – before the story of her suspension made international news.

In the days that followed, her account gained over 100 new subscribers and she more than doubled her subscription price. She said at the time of her suspension that she would continue posting on the site.

“I don’t regret joining OnlyFans. I know it can be taboo, and some people may find it shameful, but I don’t think sex work has to be shameful,” Coppage told the newspaper in September. “I just wish things would just happen in a different way.”

St. Clair is located about 55 miles southwest of St. Louis. The high school has approximately 750 students.

After quitting her teaching job, Coppage told The Messenger, “I don’t want the school to continue to get hate.”

“I would like to see student education return to normal,” she added.

“They deserve to have a great year.”

Coppage’s bio has been updated with a message to prospective followers that reads, “Yes… I am THAT teacher” – she is still unsure about who tipped off school officials in the first place.

In the same interview, Coppage suggested that he may have been a student who had betrayed her to the authorities.
