Concerns were raised about the tide problem on Reddit, with one person writing: ‘Imagine turning up to the rental, tired and exhausted from a late flight or train, only to find that the tide has come in’
There is a regular high speed train from Holyhead to London Euston which takes three hours and 39 minutes and Liverpool Airport is 100 miles away.
Although many on Reddit had something to say about the property.
One house hunter said: ‘Imagine arriving tired and exhausted from a late flight or train and discovering that the tide has come in.
‘Or that Tesco/Amazon/DPD etc. are late with their delivery and therefore cannot deliver today and cannot place the ‘While you were away’ card anywhere.’
Another said: That price is crazy, but it’s on one of the most popular beaches on the island.
‘Beautiful beach with a city that focuses on wealthy tourists. It is ideal as a holiday rental. And the tide information will not deter tourists because of the location.”
Another added: ‘It’s attractive enough but that price is INSANE.
‘Besides, I absolutely don’t believe this is safe and dry if there is a big sea storm. That’s a seawall he’s standing on, for God’s sake.”
But one person replied: ‘Honestly don’t understand the negative comments here. The location, views and beauty of the house make this a gem of a property.’
