Season 2 of Isla Fisher’s Australian horror comedy Wolf Like Me is coming to Stan in October
Streaming giant Stan has announced that the second season of the supernatural comedy-drama Wolf Like Me will premiere on October 19.
The quirky Stan Original series is a take on the romcom, in which Australian actress Isla Fisher plays a werewolf named Mary, who falls in love with a lonely single parent Gary, played by American actor Josh Gad.
Fans of the hit show can look forward to some bizarre twists in the new seven-part season as the couple grapple with the news that they’re about to welcome a baby…
But will the child be “normal” or will Mary give birth to a “wolf cub”?
Further complications arise in the story when a man from Mary’s past named Anton (Édgar Ramírez from Dr. Death) shows up and causes chaos in her new life.

Mary and Gary’s future is then jeopardized, and the pair must decide if they are meant to be together.
Star Josh Gad, 42, is best known to fans as the voice of Olaf in the Frozen franchise, while Isla Fisher, 47, rose to fame on Home and Away.
The redhead later won new audiences with an ongoing role in the hit comedy Arrested Development.
Creator and director Abe Forsythe said in a statement that fans are looking forward to more comedy and a storyline where “anything can happen” this season.
The premiere of the half-hour series’ first season, which Forsythe said was based on his “personal experiences,” became one of Stan’s most-watched shows ever.
