Sean O’Malley calls out Aljamain Sterling after UFC 288 win against Henry Cejudo

‘You look like s**t!’: Sean O’Malley launches rant against Aljamain Sterling as he storms into the octagon after the champ’s UFC 288 split decision win against Henry Cejudo…with ‘Suga’ setting up a title fight to go from to water

Sean O’Malley called out Aljamain Sterling in a foul-mouthed tirade to kick off a ravishing bantamweight bout after Sterling triumphed at UFC 288.

‘Funk Master’ defeated the returning Henry Cejudo in a thrilling five-round battle at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Sterling, now 23-3, defended his third UFC bantamweight title with a split-decision victory over former two-weight world champion Cejudo.

But not long after the 33-year-old raised his arm in the octagon, O’Malley stormed in to confront him in sensational scenes.

Social media footage showed ‘Suga’, 28, wearing a gaudy red and black jacket, climbing the stairs and making his way towards his potential next opponent.

But O’Malley stepped into the octagon to confront Sterling and set up an exciting future fight

Warning – graphic language in the video below.

O’Malley – 16-1 after beating Petr Yan in October and now the UFC’s No. 2 after Merab Dvalishvili – said, “You better hope you look better than you did tonight.” You better hope you look better than that! You better be ready to lose weight, baby.”

Sterling replied, “You’ve had a whole year to work on your jiu-jitsu. Now daddy Dana (White, UFC chief) isn’t going to babysit that anymore.

Before O’Malley added, “You better be ready to go again.” Soon, very soon. Get ready to lose weight fast, baby. You can look better than that, asshole. You better look.’

At the same time, the New Yorker continued, “Get your a** in the big boy players, baby,” as the pair squared off, talking over each other and yelling in each other’s faces before White stepped in to separate the duo.

After O’Malley insisted “You looked like s***,” Sterling questioned why he “ran” by rejecting the title shot, continuing, “I thought so.”

‘Cause I’d drag your dick up and down this octagon. Get the bastard out of my cage. Get this piece of shit out of my cage.”

Cejudo’s grand plan of a bold attempt to move up the ranks and challenge Alexander Volkanovski at featherweight failed at the first hurdle and he suggested he call it quits again.

Triple C knew he needed a massive fifth round and it was his most convincing five minutes. He picked up the pace, won the exchanges and dominated, but it proved too little, too late for two of the judges.
