Sealed with a kiss! Tennis power couple Alex de Minaur and Katie Boulter enjoy a night out following recent engagement
- Couple spotted kissing outside hotel in Sydney
- Both are preparing for tilt at the Australian Open
- ‘Demon’ is in eighth place in the men’s singles
Tennis power couple Alex de Minaur and Katie Boulter are both dreaming big for the Australian Open – and they looked relaxed as they shared a kiss outside their Sydney hotel.
They are also reportedly flying to Melbourne on a private jet ahead of De Minaur’s home battle.
‘Demon’ is seeded eighth in the men’s singles, as he aims to get past the fourth round for the first time in his career.
He will likely have a spring in his step after his recent engagement to British star Boulter.
It comes as Australian tennis legend Lleyton Hewitt declared that de Minaur is good enough to win a first grand slam on home soil.
Hewitt came close himself in 2005, losing the final to Russian star Marat Safin.

“I’m so happy that Alex can play the way he wants to again,” Hewitt said.
“Only his close-knit team probably knows exactly what he has been dealing with and how frustrating it has been, and he still continued to show up and give 100 percent without making excuses.
‘It was great to see him pain free and moving the way he wants.
“The court and everything else is starting to come together.
“And as he always says, it’s about embracing this month of the year and enjoying the moments.”
Meanwhile, de Minaur won’t be the only Australian man to receive seeding protection, with Canadian Open winner Alexei Popyrin currently at No. 24 and Jordan Thompson at No. 27.
It will be the first time since 1982 that three home men will be placed in the singles.
The Australian Open starts on January 12.
