For the second time in three years, American golfer Scottie Scheffler has claimed a green jacket and won The Masters.
It’s already been a strong start to the 2024 golf calendar for Scheffler – with wins at the Arnold Palmer and The Players. Now he can add his second major victory to that list of achievements.
Scheffler finished 11 under and four strokes ahead of major tournament debutant Ludvig Aberg, who impressed to finish on seven under. Behind them there was a tie for third place between Collin Morikawa, Max Homa and Tommy Fleetwood.

But every chance to improve his score (birdies on 8, 13, 15) was set back (double bogeys on 9, 11)

American Max Homa scored a one-over round and also finished in a tie for third place at four under par
Homa performed solidly in the front nine, finishing the first leg at one under par
But Homa shot the green at No. 12 past into the bushes, resulting in a double bogey setback
That double-bogey on the 12th hole was his biggest mistake and he didn’t get another stroke after that
The final competitor in shared third place was Tommy Fleetwood, who performed well on Sunday
