Scottie Scheffler and his wife Meredith enjoyed a family day out in Paris on Sunday as they prepared for his Olympic gold medal bid.
The world number one in golf will compete for medals next week alongside some of the world’s best players, including his American compatriots Collin Morikawa, Xander Schauffele and Wyndham Clark.
The past few months have been a rollercoaster ride for Scheffler, following his arrest outside the PGA Championship and his victory at the Masters. But he has now enjoyed some rest after The Open in Scotland last week.
Scheffler and Meredith took their young son Bennett to Paris and posed for a number of family photos as they took in the city’s sights.
Their first stop was the iconic Louvre museum, after which they took a photo on one of the bridges over the Seine.

Bennett was born on May 8, just days before his arrest at the PGA Championship in Kentucky.
Scheffler had vowed to leave the Masters during the tournament if Meredith went into labor. Fortunately, he won at Augusta National before their first child was born.
Scheffler was a real star on the course this year, winning the Travelers, RBC Heritage, Arnold Palmer Invitational, The Sentry and Memorial Tournament, as well as the Players Championship and the Masters.
Olympic gold is one of the few titles Scheffler has yet to secure, but he is confident he can get it in France.
His biggest rival could be Schauffele, who has won two majors this season and arrives in Paris as the reigning Olympic champion.
