The alleged assault reportedly led to the birth of her son, Devonte Pippen, who died in 2011.

After the relationship ended, Valentine claims Pippen used his celebrity status as an NBA star to allegedly “stalk, harass and torment” her, which she said caused her “severe mental and emotional distress.”

Valentine claims she once tried to file a police report against the six-time NBA champion, only for Pippen to use his connections with local, state and federal employees to allegedly cancel it and his medical connections to falsify her reports and portraying her as ‘mentally ill.’

She also claims the alleged stalking caused her to lose employment and housing.

The court date has been set for May 2.

Pippen was married to his first wife Karen McCollum from 1988 to 1990 before tying the knot with Larsa in 1997. The Real Housewives of Miami star filed for divorce in 2018.

Valentine, who claims she was unaware of the seven-time NBA All-Star’s marriage to McCollum at the time of their relationship, has previously taken legal action against him.

Pippen is currently on his ‘No Bull’ tour in Australia with ex-teammates Horace Grant and Luc Longley for a series of public appearances to celebrate Michael Jordan, the club’s six NBA titles and the controversial ESPN documentary about those teams, The Last Dance, to be discussed. .

Pippen, a Hall of Famer, was a member of all six of the Bulls’ title-winning teams. Grant won three championships in Chicago before moving to Orlando as a free agent in 1994, when Longley joined the Bulls en route to the club’s second three-peat of the decade.

The No Bull tour promises to revive recent criticism of the documentary, which Pippen and other former Bulls say was beneficial to Jordan, who reportedly negotiated the project’s “final cut.”

Pippen and Jordan have been at odds since the release of ESPN’s 2020 docuseries about the 1997-98 Bulls, The Last Dance, and things only got worse when Jordan’s adult son, Marcus, started dating Pippen’s ex-wife Larsa.
