Scott McTominay has provided an update on his condition after being substituted in Man United’s draw against Burnley.
United found themselves in a lengthy stalemate with Vincent Kompany’s struggling side at Old Trafford, with the match goalless on the hour mark.
McTominay has made a habit of making a significant impact from the bench this season and was brought in to replace Kobbie Mainoo as the hosts looked to break the deadlock.
Shortly afterwards, Antony would do just that, latching onto a loose ball to fire past Arijanet Muric and score his second Premier League goal of the season.
Zeki Amdouni scored Burnley’s equalizer from the penalty spot and United’s afternoon went from bad to worse when McTominay went down with a knee injury in stoppage time.

The midfielder appeared to be in serious discomfort as he was helped off the pitch on Saturday
The 27-year-old limped off the pitch in obvious discomfort, sparking concerns among supporters that he could be on the sidelines for an extended period.
However, McTominay allayed fears in a social media post, insisting the injury was ‘nothing serious’.
“I slipped and fell awkwardly on my knee, just like against Chelsea,” he wrote on his Instagram Story.
‘Nothing serious, just hyperextension, but I was angry and upset because I thought it was worse than it was.
‘I hope to be back on the field soon to help the team as best I can.’
The update will come as a significant relief to United boss Erik ten Hag as his side prepare to take on bitter rivals Manchester City in the FA Cup final at Wembley next month.
However, the 27-year-old assured his supporters that the issue was not as serious as initially feared and that he hopes to return soon.
McTominay is also expected to be included in Steve Clarke’s Scotland squad for the upcoming European Championships this summer.
McTominay was deployed in a more advanced role to which he has become accustomed at United and was instrumental in helping Scotland qualify for the finals in Germany, scoring seven times from seven starts as they finished second in Group A.
