Scott Disick is FINALLY seeking help for his Ozempic use after ‘public outcry’ over his gaunt appearance gave him a much needed wake-up call – as he desperately tries to reach a healthy weight without ‘ballooning’

Scott Disick has finally decided to seek help for his Ozempic use after shocking fans and leaving loved ones fearing for his health over his dramatic weight loss, insiders claim.

The reality TV star, 40 – who shares three children with his ex Kourtney Kardashian – sparked concern when he was pictured looking noticeably thinner last month.

Fans were concerned that his gaunt appearance was the result of an undisclosed illness or drug use, but sources told DailyMail.com that he was using Ozempic in a desperate bid to get rid of his ‘dad body’.

Now Scott – nicknamed ‘The Lord’ – has reportedly turned to a nutritionist to tackle his fluctuating weight following the ‘public outcry’ over his new look.

“Scott realized he had to stop taking Ozempic after seeing the photos of himself and the public outcry over his weight loss,” an insider told DailyMail.com exclusively.

‘He thought he looked good because he was thinner again, without realizing that this was not healthy.

“He is now working with a nutritionist to get back on track and not get as big as he was.”

They added: ‘Scott has been incredibly attractive and fit all his life and is not having the best time accepting age is catching up with him.’

DailyMail.com has contacted Scott’s representatives for comment.

Ozempic has been popularized by a host of celebrities, including Sharon Osbourne and Oprah Winfrey, who have lost pounds using the wonder drug.

Last month, DailyMail.com reported that Scott had turned to Ozempic in an attempt to manage his weight after packing on the pounds due to a back injury following a car accident in 2022.

Fans expressed concern when he was pictured looking noticeably thinner after a meal with his friends at Catch Steak restaurant in West Hollywood.

Less than a week later, he was photographed looking emaciated while dining out at Nobu with his three children Mason, 14, Penelope, 11, and Reign, nine.

“He is not ill and not on hardcore drugs,” a source told DailyMail.com at the time. “Kourtney would never let Scott spend so much time with their children if he was in the grips of addiction.

‘Scott started taking Ozempic because he was having serious problems with his weight gain. This time last year he thought he was fat.’

Scott’s well-being became a topic of conversation last year after an episode of the hit Hulu reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Khloe Kardashian, 39, visited the businessman to discuss his health. During the episode, Scott admitted that he hadn’t been doing the physical therapy needed to recover from his back injury, later telling his doctor, “I haven’t been able to run around.” I have arrived.’

Khloe said, “I think Scott needs a little pep talk because this is probably the most unhealthy I’ve seen him. He has very little mobility and it’s all coming from his back, so no one would be comfortable with that.”

Scott then admitted that he had “gained a lot of weight… because of my back.”

Scott, who lost his parents in 2013 and 2014, has also openly struggled with substance abuse and alcoholism in the past.

He was hospitalized for alcohol poisoning in June 2020 and before that, he suffered a near-fatal overdose in 2014 after consuming almost an entire bottle of sleeping pills following a wild night out drinking and partying.

He was eventually convinced by his ex-girlfriend Kourtney to enter rehab for a month-long stay.

The star made changes to his diet in 2020 after discovering he had low testosterone levels.

In Britain and the US, Ozempic is only available by prescription, but the cost in America is astronomical and can cost up to $1,700 per month.

Nutritionist Dr. Mark Hyman recently shared with DailyMail.com that the unforeseen side effects of the touted “miracle weight loss shot” are frightening.

The first was intestinal blockages – which is when food gets stuck in the intestines, where, if left untreated, it can cut off the blood supply and be fatal.

The second was inflammation of the pancreas, which can also be fatal.

It comes after an analysis found that fat loss shots such as Ozempic and Zepbound have been linked to more than 100 deaths in the US.

Millions of Americans are now prescribed weight loss shots.
