Scott Disick, 40, appears gaunt as he dashes around NYC after his DRASTIC weight loss amid Ozempic claims

Scott Disick’s dramatic weight loss was on display again when he showed up for a casual outing in New York City on Thursday.

After reportedly struggling with weight gain amid his ex Kourtney Kardashian’s new romance with Travis Barker, insiders have claimed that Scott may have turned to Ozempic when he started comparing himself to the Blink-182 drummer.

During his latest outing, the reality star, who let a hint of scruff grow across his slimmed-down face, donned a voluminous gray jacket.

He partially obscured his features with orange sunglasses, a plain black T-shirt and pants with a pair of white sneakers.

A night earlier, Scott was seen taking his and Kourtney’s three children, Mason, 14, Penelope, 11, and Reign, nine, out to dinner at Nobu – accompanied by his old on-off flame Bella Banos.

Bella and Scott have been sporadically involved on and off dating back to 2017 when they were spotted together in Costa Rica.

More recently, Scott reportedly found it difficult to see the Poosh founder moving on with Travis, and in 2022 he famously destroyed their PDA in a leaked DM.

Now insiders have claimed the troubled star is in a ‘sticky situation’. There is talk of an intervention after his Ozempic use left him looking shockingly thin.

“Kourtney’s marriage to Travis took a toll on Scott and as he grew, he compared himself to Travis – and Travis being skinny didn’t help,” a source told DailyMail.com exclusively.

“Scott used food as a crutch because he couldn’t turn to drugs.”

The insider added that the star has shunned alcohol and drugs as a coping mechanism, stressing that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star does not want to jeopardize his relationship with his children.

“He loves his kids too much to ruin his relationship with them,” the source said. “Kourtney is obviously concerned because he is the father of her children.

‘After the photos emerged, people close to Scott realized how dire the situation is, but are struggling to intervene because so many around him are also using the drug. It would be like the pot calling the kettle black.’

The insider claimed that it is “very likely” that Scott’s weight loss crisis will play a role in an upcoming season of The Kardashians.

“Scott knows that,” they said. “He signed a contract, so there’s not much he can do about it with his disturbing appearance on TV.”

Scott dated Kourtney from 2006 to 2015, with the reality TV star citing his sobriety struggles as the reason for their split.

Kourtney moved on with drummer Travis, with the couple tying the knot in May 2022. The couple, who are no strangers to very public displays of affection, welcomed their first child together, son Rocky, last year.

Earlier this week, DailyMail.com reported that Kourtney is reportedly concerned about Scott, who insiders claim has gone ‘too far’ with Ozempic in a desperate bid to get rid of his ‘dad body’.

Scott looked noticeably thinner on Saturday night after a meal with his friends at Catch Steak restaurant in West Hollywood, and fans initially feared his appearance was the result of an undisclosed illness or drug use.

Scott, who lost his parents in 2013 and 2014, has openly struggled with substance abuse and alcoholism.

But an insider said: ‘He is not ill and not on hardcore drugs. Kourtney would never let Scott spend so much time with their children if he was in the grips of addiction.

‘Scott started taking Ozempic because he was having serious problems with his weight gain. This time last year he saw himself as fat.

‘He had gained a lot of weight and could not bear to see himself on video footage broadcast in recent months. He would go to any lengths to hide it.

“Scott wanted the easy way out of his father’s body. But now it has clearly gone too far and the family is obviously concerned about him.’

The source added, “They’ll probably use this for ratings on The Kardashians. Scott is strong and will be able to get through this – especially now that he knows it has become a major problem with his image and fame.”

Scott’s well-being became a talking point last year after an episode of the hit reality show Hulu in which Khloe expressed her concerns about his health after he suffered a back injury.

The star’s battle began in August 2022 after a car accident that left his Lamborghini upside down.

During the episode, Scott admitted that he hadn’t done the physical therapy needed to recover, later telling his doctor, “I haven’t been able to run around.” I have arrived.’

Khloe Kardashian said, “I think Scott needs a little pep talk because this is probably the most unhealthy I’ve seen him. He has very little mobility and it’s all coming from his back, so no one would be comfortable with that.”

Scott then admitted that he had “gained a lot of weight… because of my back.”

He suffered a near-fatal overdose in 2014 after taking almost an entire bottle of sleeping pills after a wild night out and partying.

He was eventually convinced by Kourtney to go to rehab for a month-long stay.

He was also hospitalized in June 2020 for alcohol poisoning.

In 2017, he told DailyMail.com that he used SwissX legal cannabis oil to “relax.”

He made changes to his diet in 2020 after discovering he had low testosterone levels.

Scott was pictured in a sprinter alongside the Universal Music Group employee – who wore black strappy heels and sat right next to Scott after their night of partying.

The reality TV star – who was recently spotted leaving his ex Chloe Bartoli’s home with a suitcase in tow – was out with friends on Saturday night when images of his shocking new look started circulating.

He was later seen leaving the Offsunset nightclub with bombshell Sarah Bauer, 28, as identified by Page Six.

The pair were also seen with his friend, model Jordan Barrett, 27, who has also undergone an extreme weight loss transformation.
