Scott Cam reportedly not happy with one Block pairing’s diva antics: ‘They already think they’re famous’

Channel Nine’s new series The Block premiered last week, and one team has already managed to sideline co-host Scott Cam.

Yellow Team Ricky and Haydn reportedly developed inflated egos during their time on the show, much to the chagrin of Cam, 62.

“They already think they’re famous,” a fellow contestant told the BBC this week. New Idea Magazine.

The publication was invited to Phillip Island in Victoria to talk to Cam. Cam also complained that his best friends were holding up the meeting.

“Well, they’re late,” Cam snapped, threatening to start the celebratory lunch without them.

Luckily the friends from Melbourne arrived just in time and from then on everything went smoothly.

This came after Cam revealed during the series premiere that The Block contestants are going to have a tough time this year.

The host of the renovation show had a terrible surprise for the Blockheads: they are going camping on the construction site.

In previous seasons, contestants started by building a bedroom in their home so they had a space to stay in while they worked on the rest of the house.

This season, however, the first space the Blockheads have to build is the main bathroom, meaning all five teams will be camping in tents on the grounds during the first week of competition.

Earlier this year, Scott revealed that the contestants on recent seasons have less perseverance than they did 20 years ago, when the show began.

“The candidates are less resilient than they were 20 years ago, 15 years ago,” Cam said news.com.au.

The current series of The Block was filmed earlier this year on the popular tourist attraction Phillip Island in Victoria.

Ny Breaking Australia reports that a Channel Nine company has purchased Island Cove Villas on the Victorian island for a whopping $9.5 million.

The site is a two and a half hour drive from Melbourne and currently comprises nine homes, a communal swimming pool, barbecue pavilion, tennis court and children’s playground.
