The 69-year-old TV star made a rare appearance on Monday at the New York City premiere of the film Ordinary Angels starring Hilary Swank.
The iconic actor was smartly dressed in a black jacket over a white shirt with a large black and white plaid scarf for his red carpet moment.
Also with the screen favorite was his lover of 30 years Chelsea Field, 66, who is also an actress best known for The Last Boy Scout and NCIS: New Orleans.
The two started dating in the 1990s and married in 2009; they have two sons.
