Scheana Shay reveals Ariana Madix’s eggs were ‘protected and frozen’ WITHOUT ex Tom Sandoval’s sperm
Scheana Shay revealed that her friend Ariana Madix’s frozen eggs had not been fertilized by her ex Tom Sandoval, who she broke up with in March after nine years of dating.
Prior to her former partner’s shocking fling with costar Raquel Leviss, the exes discussed the idea while filming Wednesday’s episode of Vanderpump Rules.
Thankfully, Shay, 37, confirmed that Madix’s “eggs are self-protected and frozen without that sperm.”
“Thank God,” the mother-of-one told her guests Mackenzie Dipman and Deb Chubb on her Dear Media podcast, Scheananigans With Scheana Shay.
Before welcoming her two-year-old daughter, Summer, with husband Brock Davies, Shay and Madix went through the process together.

When Madix appeared on Shay’s podcast in 2021, she told listeners she “had a lot of complications” during her “retrieval procedure,” but was able to freeze 26 eggs.
The Buying Back My Daughter actress made it clear at the time that she “only froze eggs” and not embryos, despite encouraging her then-beau to join the process.
She went on to say that the bar owner took no “initiative” to help fertilize her eggs.
“As much as people would love to think he wants to be a dad so badly, he really doesn’t,” the reality star claimed prior to his months-long cheating scandal.
Speaking about the decision to freeze her eggs, Madix told her Instagram followers that she wanted “agency over” her “own body” and “future.”
“It’s also kind of a fun f**k you for anyone who questions my values or choices,” the star explains.
On the latest episode of Vanderpump Rules, Madix asked Sandoval when he would deposit his sperm.
“Two years ago I froze my eggs and I was able to retrieve 26 of them, which is very, very good,” Ariana said in a confessional.

Ariana then told Sandoval not to drink or smoke for five days.
She said her stance on not wanting to have children hasn’t changed, but that the eggs were simply more viable as fertilized embryos.
“Are you ever going to use these eggs for anything?” asked Sandoval.
“I don’t know,” Ariana said. ‘Maybe maybe not. I don’t really care if we do, I guess. I mean, I’m not going to get pregnant.’
“When Ariana asked me to fertilize her eggs last year, I was thrilled. I was like yes, sure, I will,” Sandoval said in a confessional. “Why would Ariana want me to fertilize her eggs if we have or don’t have kids or whatever she decides?”
Sandoval said it was hard to talk to her because she never agreed with him. Sandoval said it felt frustrating and at times like she was questioning his intelligence.
