Scheana Shay looks glamorous as she highlights her stunningly made-up face… as her show Vanderpump Rules is set to skip filming over the summer

Scheana Shay looked her best on Wednesday when she shared a photo of herself that highlighted her beautiful face and flawless makeup.

The 39-year-old Vanderpump Rules star flashed a soft smile in a selfie she posted to her Instagram Stories after a session with makeup artist Anais Cordova, who regularly glams up the other women of the popular Bravo reality series.

Although Scheana’s makeup looked like she was getting ready for a night out on the town, she will likely have a more relaxed schedule in the coming months after reports that Vanderpump Rules won’t be filming this summer.

However, it’s said to be just a break to recover from the Scandoval drama, and the series is reportedly sticking around.

Scheana’s selfie look included thick, elegantly raised eyebrows and delicate red spots that highlighted her high cheekbones.

Her heavily lined lips were done up in a mauve shade and she had a perfect smoky eye with beautiful long lashes.

The reality star’s long, highlighted locks were styled straight and swept to the side.

She highlighted her flat stomach while wearing a black sports bra and white sweatpants, and she ran her fingers through her hair as she stared into the camera.

Her makeup artist Anais also posted the photo on her Insta Stories.

Scheana had just finished her appearance on Tuesday’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, in which she and other cast members were decked out in lavish 1920s-style costumes for a party.

The episode featured a candid conversation between her and Tom Sandoval, in which she urged him to apologize to his wronged ex Ariana Madix.

“If he could sincerely apologize, maybe there is some hope in this group to move forward one day,” she said in a confessional.

While it’s unlikely Ariana would accept an apology from Tom for the affair he had with since-deceased castmate Rachel Leviss, Scheana thought an apology from him for comments he made about Ariana’s mental health could smooth things over.

“I know she has a very strong no-contact policy, even though you guys live in the same house, that’s all true,” Scheana said. “But I also know that the things you said about her and her mental health and things that maybe she didn’t want to make public, you can actually apologize for weaponizing that?”

She made the comment immediately after Tom said he appreciated Ariana’s new boyfriend Daniel Wai because he feared her mental health would suffer when she was alone.

Scheana had just finished her appearance on Tuesday’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, in which she and other cast members were decked out in lavish 1920s-style costumes for a party.

She tried to convince her co-star Tom Sandoval to “sincerely apologize” to his ex Ariana Madix, hoping to make it easier for them to continue filming the series.

They claimed that producers wanted to give the cast some rest after the tense post-Scandoval fallout, although they also noted that the storyline largely dried up at this point.

In addition to helping the cast recharge, a break can also allow for more dramatic developments that can feed into the next season.

However, the production sources claimed that the show was just taking a hiatus and that it would still return.
