Scarlett Moffatt shares unseen photo of her ‘miracle baby’ Jude who was born a month premature as she expresses her gratitude during NICU Awareness Month

Last year, she welcomed her first child, a boy named Jude, with her boyfriend Scott Dobinson.

And on Thursday, TV personality Scarlett Moffatt, 33, took to Instagram to express her gratitude to the Neonatal Intensive Care Units after her son was born a month premature.

Scarlett shared an unseen photo of her miracle baby, saying, “It’s NICU awareness month. Some of you may know that Jude was my little miracle baby who surprised us super early at just 35 weeks and 5 days, a whole month early.”

‘I am ever so grateful to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Durham Hospital for all the help and support during this time, especially Helen (pictured here) and Charlotte!’

Another photo showed her son lying in a Babytherm while her boyfriend Scott watched over him.

In another photo, Jude is seen wearing a cute knitted hat as Scott feeds him a bottle.

Scarlett also shared a sweet snap with her followers of her midwife Helen holding Jude in her arms and thanking the hospital and Helen for all their help and support.

In June last year, Scarlett announced her birth in a sweet Instagram post, saying Jude had been born five weeks earlier than planned.

She captioned the photo: ‘Jude Xavier Dobinson. My sweet boy, I can’t stop crying when I look at you, because I can’t believe you’re mine.’

“You wanted to meet us so early, at only 35 weeks. Me and your dad love you so much that I can’t even express this feeling in words.”

“Our hearts and souls feel complete and ready to burst. I will be forever and ever grateful to be your mommy.”

Earlier that same year, Scarlett announced that she was expecting her first child with her boyfriend Scott.

She posted an adorable video of her ultrasound on Instagram to share her happy news.

In the clip, her beloved Chihuahua Bonnie can be seen wearing a brown scarf with the text ‘I’m going to be a big sister’ on it.

And the dog sat next to an ultrasound image of the unborn child as Scarlett shared her exciting baby news with her 2.3 million followers.

Scarlett said in the clip that it felt like a “dream” to announce her pregnancy and admitted she and Scott were “on cloud nine.”

She wrote: ‘Writing this caption honestly feels like a dream. Scott and I are on cloud nine and so happy to share this moment with you all. You are already so loved little one. Baby Dobinson is coming.’

Scarlett and Scott, who have known each other for over 15 years, started dating in late 2018 and went public with their relationship in March 2019.

The couple ran into trouble in March 2021 when they briefly split, but got back together 24 hours after announcing their split.
