Scarlett Johansson joked that her husband Colin Jost had to star in her new film Fly Me To The Moon because of their prenuptial agreement.
The 39-year-old actress made the joke on Monday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon while promoting the upcoming romantic comedy from director Greg Berlanti, 52.
Jimmy, 49, shared a photo of Colin, 42, making a cameo in the film, which Scarlett also co-produced and stars in.
“I know him,” Scarlett said as she looked at the photo with Colin.
“How did this cameo come about?” Jimmy asked.

Scarlett said director Greg was a “big fan” of Colin.
“And Colin, I think he had to do it because it’s in our prenuptial agreement. If I have to do something, he has to be there to support me,” Scarlett said, causing Jimmy to burst out laughing.
Jimmy asked Scarlett if she went over her lines with Colin, referring to the custom of rehearsing dialogue with someone.
“I do the lines with him, which is great. You would think that would be really helpful because you have a partner to help you, you can learn your lines, you know, for tomorrow, whatever,” Scarlett said.
“He does like it really serious, he really puts effort into the reading of the text. And it’s not always the performance that I want,” she added.
“You don’t want to perform at all,” Jimmy chimed in.
“No. I just say the lyrics,” Scarlett said.
Scarlett said that Colin takes big, dramatic pauses and throws herself into the story until she can’t concentrate anymore.

“He’s amazing,” Scarlett said, enthusing that Colin was funny, outgoing and charming.
“We all like him,” Jimmy said.
“He’s nice,” Scarlett said, patting herself on the back.
