Scared Of The Dark: Chris Eubank QUITS the show
Chris Eubank LEAVES Channel 4’s Scared Of The Dark on Wednesday night’s dramatic episode.
The boxer, 56, left the Bunker after a series of arguments with the other contestants who all bonded without him.
During a piece on camera, he said he had more important things to do and said he wouldn’t change his mind until he left the show.
Host Danny Dyer then said, “He was the fly in the group’s ointment, wasn’t he!” I wonder if it will create a domino effect and make the other want to leave?’
The seven remaining stars were then told he wouldn’t be returning, but he didn’t seem too sad about it.
Day: Chris Eubank QUIT Channel 4’s Scared Of The Dark on Wednesday night’s dramatic episode
Oh dear: the boxer, 56, left the Bunker after a series of rows with the other contestants who all bonded without him
Love Island’s Chloe Burrows, who had feuded with him in the past, commented, “It’s a proud thing and he couldn’t admit he couldn’t!”
It comes after Scared Of The Dark viewers berated Chris for refusing to take part in the challenges on Tuesday.
The new show continued on Tuesday night and saw tensions rise among the celebrities as they continued to live close quarters in complete darkness.
And Chris began to isolate himself more and more from the other participants.
In a challenge with Max George, he moodily stopped playing halfway through after losing several rounds in a row.
Chris then refused to participate in another challenge that Max would win some time in the light.
The other celebrities tried unsuccessfully to convince him, stating that he “bows to no one.”
And viewers watching at home were unimpressed by his actions and took to Twitter to tell him to play the game or leave.
One of them said, “Chris Eubank is actually a seriously mean human being. The man is a narcissist. How horrible he really is to these people.’
Shock: Host Danny Dyer then said, “He was the fly in the group’s ointment, wasn’t he!” I wonder if it will create a domino effect and make the other want to leave?’

A second added, “Sulky kid in the body of a 56-year-old man #ScaredOfTheDark.”
A third repeated: ‘Why is Chris Eubank (a grown man) allowed to endanger other players because he is a petulant child?
“You signed the contract. Get on it, mate. I only went to watch this tonight and I don’t know how this group treats him.”
A fourth wrote: ‘I’ve always found Chris Eubank odd, but he’s mad at this on a different level. He’s mentally unstable.’
A fifth suggested: ‘I hope someone gets a chance to buy time in the light for Chris Eubank and then refuses to do it like he did with Max’.
While a sixth added: ‘Chris Eubank banging about manners etc and he’s the rudest person out there #ScaredOfTheDark’.
A seventh said: ‘Chris Eubank is ap****. Don’t want to play the game? Don’t go to the show.’
And an eighth agreed, saying, “I don’t think @ChrisEubank should have received his payment for #ScaredOfTheDark on @Channel4 because he’s not playing the game. Made himself pathetic’.
Despite calls to leave by fans and by his fellow bunker celebrities, Chris insisted he would not leave the show.
He told me? Running away from a game?’ before declaring, “I’m not afraid of anything!”
It comes after Chris came under fire earlier in the episode for “rudely” telling Paul Gascoigne to stop talking “tragic” about his life.
Gazza was asked by his fellow celebs about the worst night of his life, prompting him to tell a story about a man who died next to him on a plane.
He said he was annoyed with the passenger for making him “white” when he said he was afraid of flying, only to find out that the man had tragically died during takeoff.
He said, “I had to sit next to him for 10 hours.”
Gazza, who has spoken openly about his alcoholism, added, “I just got out of rehab and have come back to it.”
However, his story provoked an angry response from Chris, who told him not to “talk so tragically” about his life as they got involved in a heated argument.
When Gazza asked if Chris needed help with anything in the kitchen, he replied, “I’d like you to stop talking so tragically about your life.”
To which Gazza said: ‘I myself will try.’
Response: Love Island’s Chloe Burrows, who had feuded with him in the past, commented, “It’s a proud thing and he couldn’t admit he couldn’t!”

Doubling down, Chris continued, “Stop talking so tragically about your life.”
Gazza then insisted, “I’m not here for you, or your family, or your children, I’m here for me, to challenge myself.”
But Chris continued, “Why tell stories that are tragic? Like they’re inspiring, no they’re tragic.’
Speaking to the camera, Chris continued in a rage, “All these stars here have been badly behaved, or ill-mannered, or badly spoken. Just be worthy!’
